So here is the true question then, why can't he do that every week? So I guess the blame would have to go on Rodgers. After all you hit on what alot of us have been saying all year. Lets get back to the quick short passes, but with Rodgers at the helm we don't we go for the bombs and 20 yard ins and outs.
I think this is a valid point. Flynn showed some issues in throwing the long ball, so I think the transition to the "WCO" if you want to call it that could have been a function of Flynn's skill set.
I do agree that the team showed they have wrs/rbs, and even FBs with great YAC potential, so it makes sense to let them utilize their skill set more often in shorter slants, WR screens, etc...and they have done used that this year, but at the same time, this team does have home-run potential which, in theory, should stretch the defense and open the box for screens, the run game, etc.
I'm not exactly making a point, since I'm not a WCO guru or offensive genius, just responding with some observations
