Watching that video and the ints showed me something..

Those that say the WR fell down is reason for the ints is a bunch of crap.

1:13 Peterson is ALREADY on the ground and Brett is throwing it..Granted it was a split second and hard for Bret tto stop arm motion, but he was on the ground

The one to visanthe shiancoe ( 1:18 and camera angle is from back of Vistanthe) you clearly see Brett didnt led him enough and he Vint had to stop and reach behind thats why he fell..

He is playing poorly, so he should sit..I dont care if Chilly brought him in on his back 20 miles, you bench him

I'm sick of his limping and gimping and this hurts and that hurts and then he shows up next week and plays "ironman".
Hopefully he keeps playing out the spectacle and gets humiliated week after week right to the end of the season.

I'll give you the Shiancoe pass as a bad one.. although if Shank doesn't fall, he catches the ball (most of the time). That AP INT was on AP, though.

Did anyone else notice how shitty that grass surface looked on Sunday? I was getting pretty annoyed at how the announcers (especially Kenny Albert) were talking how the Vikings aren't used to grass playing surfaces and all that. These are professional football players. They've played on grass surfaces their entire careers until college. And even then most D1 stadiums have grass surfaces. The Vikings DO practice outside on grass as well. Now, can they help it that Chicago seems to leave Soldier Field unattended for seemingly weeks at a time? No. Does THAT effect them (more so than the fact that is was just a grass surface)? Yes.

Well.....first Formo, i just want to point out i was just trying to have fun with your spelling the word wrong. (I do that also, all the tyme!)LOL!
And yes, them saying how the grass somehow was to blame for the Vikings inability to play......that was stupid. The grass was just as long for the Bears.
Sure, the Vikings play in a dome. But should they just be given a pass to play awful anytime they are on grass?
Like you said, these are pro players. They KNOW how to play on grass.

Favre played for many years on grass.
(and a few on Vicoden!) LOL!

A few years ago.. I thought maybe he played up his dings. With the Jets.. just the opposite, but after they released the nature of the injury I believe Brett learned something that he would utilize in 09 and this season.

Make more of the injuries, enhance the tough nuts to the wall for the team image... and it is becoming worse.

But even after all that.. you still have to respect that he lines up Sunday and goes out and gives it for 60.

If the Vikes fall completely out, a loss Sunday basically will pound the final nail in the coffin... I will not understand playing him out through the season.. except to sell tickets, let him get to 300 and let him go out his way. Vikes have a ton of work to do in the off season.. that club has more questions than answers.

I understand the hatred for Favre. I also understand he's someone who needs to hire a PR guy before he says anything to the media.

However, he's still one of the most exciting players to watch. Last year, he was the most exciting player to watch, period. This year, it may be Michael Vick.

Favre retires, the NFL loses. As do NFL fans. Although I'm a Packers fan first, I do catch some of the other games. I can't believe what I'm seeing from Vick this year. I was the guy who started the "Michael Vick is not an elite QB" thread too.

Vikings best chance to win as of 2010 is still with Favre at QB. Their OL is a mess. Their receiving crew is all beaten up. Favre missed a deep TD pass to Harvin last game and I wonder if his shoulder is bad. If so, then he needs to sit a game or two. Then you'll see why Favre > TJ.

I have to ask my fellow Packer fans this question: which quarterback would you rather see this weekend -- Favre or Jackson.

Unless there's an injury problem with Favre affecting his throwing ability (e.g., the shoulder), I'd still rather face Jackson.

Frankly, with Minnesota's OL and underachieving defense, I don't think either one can beat the Packers unless the Packers turn out really flat. But I think the Vikings have a bit more of a chance to monkeywrenching the "shoulds" if Favre is their QB.

And if I were a Viking fan, I'd have another reason for wanting Favre as the QB. Whoever is QB this year is going to have to deal with Chilly's incompetence. Might as well have opposing teams beat the crap out of a guy who is going to retire at the end of the year anyway rather than out of a potential "quarterback of the future."
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Wade - I want to beat my opponent at 100% of his game, not 50% of his game.

Let's consider something. Let's say I run into Andre Agassi in my retirement home. We're in our 90s. I beat him at tennis because he has 2 fake knees and his shoulder was surgically repaired. Does that make me cool? Not really.

Now let's say this. I run into Andre Agassi tomorrow. I beat him in tennis tomorrow. Does that make me cool? Hell yes.

Right now, I'd take a lot more pride beating the NE Patriots than I would the Buffalo Bills.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
