I don't get the Havner cut. I understand Lee is a better TE, but Havner is an excellent special teams player and proved last year that he has a nose for end zone.

Frankly, Havner was a below average blocker on his best day, and outside of having 4 TDs he wasn't worth a whole lot. Quarless has more physical talent, upside, and use as a #3 TE (assuming he is ahead of Crabtree) than Havner.
No big loss at the end of the day, in my opinion. Versatility was a plus for Havner, but if he ended up playing snaps at LB in actual games, then you were in pretty deep ... well you know.
