I knwo Collins was a pro-bowler, but anyone else here have doubts about him? I'm not sold on the guy. He had a good year, but don't forget about the year before when he was on everyone's shit list. Not sold on one year wonder, will wait and evaluate after this year.

My beef with him in '07 is a QB would throw a pass right into his arms and he'd drop it. It had nothing to do with him missing tackles. 2008 Mr. Collins becomes an interception machine and completely destroys that criticism.

Sure, it's one year but it's one heck of a year, you have to admit.

Zombie didn't i read on here somewhere that the 2nd half of the year Collins pretty much disappeared? I could be wrong and i'm being to lazy to look up his stats. But i still say let him play out his contract and not fork out cash for one year.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

If our d-lines play better Collins has a better year last year. We need his tackling ability out there.

I know where your coming from Dark but i am getting really tired of hearing that word. If i was a rock star i would be rich lol. Just think If we would've won more games we would have won the Super Bowl 😛

Zombie didn't i read on here somewhere that the 2nd half of the year Collins pretty much disappeared? I could be wrong and i'm being to lazy to look up his stats. But i still say let him play out his contract and not fork out cash for one year.

He's a solid tackler. I'd actually reward him with an incentive laden contract, like Grant got but of course with defensive stats. Keep tackling, keep getting those INTs, and all sides are happy.

Even in '07 when I was mad at him, it wasn't because of missed tackles. The guy makes his tackles. It was because he was dropping INTs constantly.

Yeah '07 was annoying to watch, but we were 13-3 so things like that didn't matter as much in the grand scheme of things. It still feels weird saying we had a losing season in '08. To bad we couldn't delete or erase the last 3 minutes of our losses haha.
