I guess I wasn't far off.

I had Toribio instead of McDonald.
Blackmon for Bush.
Lumpkin for Hall.
Havner for Lee.

Sucks for Bryan. Moved his whole family to a different country and has nothing to show for it now. Hopefully he keeps working hard and catches on with another team.

Supposedly the Packers offered him a Practice Squad spot if he doesn't get picked up off waivers.

Anyone think Demps from Philly would be worth bringing in, still young and at the very worst could add a bit of depth and give some insights for the philly game.

I don't get the Havner cut. I understand Lee is a better TE, but Havner is an excellent special teams player and proved last year that he has a nose for end zone.

and in a pinch you can he can fill in at linebacker if we get hit with injuries.

Havner was overrated as a TE. He caught a whopping 7 balls last year. Having 4 of them go for TDs looks like a very incidental stat to me.

He didnt bring a thing to this team as a LB.

Versatility is great, but if youre the 5th TE on a roster and about the 10th LBer, you shouldnt make the team because you can play both ways.

Next to that, chances are slim that hell keep on improving. Hes been with us since 2006. Hes 27 years old.

Id rather keep two guys in Quarless and Crabtree who can still grow and get better while making just as much of an impact as Havner wouldve this year.
