The point of why I got a little pissed off and overreacted was because were talking about packers stuff and grammer and spelling is the least i care about when talking about the packers and as long as u get what im saying u shouldnt care and make remarks like that so im saying now that im srry for overreacting.

for me it's a thing of respect to other members to get my posts done in an appropriate way. just throwing out sentences with an uncountable amount of abbreviations, youth slang for short messages, overall non-compliance to the language and careless behaviour with punctuation marks let me at least to question this respect.

i, as a non-native speaker, try my best to get the posts done in the best manner i can, so it should be easy for you to do it appropriate, too. typing some non-readable stuff and expecting the other guys to take a few minutes to get the contents of a post shouldn't be the way to act in a message board.

this said, sorry for all my mistakes, but at least i'm trying to get it done correctly. 😉

English is my second language. My first is Gibberish. I am also semi-fluent in Canadian and Australian.

I am not so worried about the secondary. Our Packers went 7-1 while missing 3-4 CBs. We still have Collins and Woodson, the DPOY. A couple guys need to step up that should have had a chance last year. Too many injuries.

Shields has a couple of traits that really go a long way towards making a great CB. Instincts and speed. He also has the work for it attitude of someone who doesn't feel like it is owed to him.

I also think Harris will be back. Bigby, who I don't really like much, would be nice to have back for depth. If we miss those guys during the easier part of the schedule and get them back for the difficult part, I think we'll be OK.

Who are you to tell us we shouldn't care? That's pretty presumptuous on your part. I happen to take pleasure in reading elegant, well-crafted prose (like that written by Wade, Dexter_Sinister, all_about_da_packers, evad04, and British, just to name a few off the top of my head), and I imagine I'm not alone in this.

As I said, if you actually think what you say is important enough to spend time writing it, one would think you'd actually take pride in making it easy to understand. When I have to waste time attempting to decipher garbled text, I just get annoyed and pass on.

The end result is no communication occurs and you've just wasted your time.

I have faith in top 2 CBs and top 2 S to get the job done.... after that I have some questions... but hey I have some questions about the LBers like can they stay healthy and be physical enough which are much bigger than the nickel...

Are we seriously going off on the grammar argument a few days from kickoff?

Okay then..

Listen, rambling paragraphs, lack of capitalization and punctuation are sometimes a bit of a conundrum and slightly annoying; but to derail a complete thread, which on its premise was a decent thread is rather silly.

Face it... with texting, twitter and instant messaging.. the art of proper grammar is passing into oblivion.

At first in this thread it was cute to correct it.. but to pound the topic into the ground over and over in a thread isn't going to change it.

We are teaching the youth of this country to forgo it at every turn..

Finley88Beast is rather new around here.. make the point... and move on.. skip over his thoughts if they irk you that badly.. and continue to lead by example. (BTW... my ellipses are a bad habit and well just my thing... awaiting my punishment from the local grammar sheriff, lol.)

Now back to the thread.. our belittled secondary will account for at least two turnovers vs the Eagles.. and I believe at least one of them from one of the rookies.. somehow I see a streaking player coasting down the sidelines for a long return.. just can't pick out the number.. 😉
