underwood - he is only good on ST, he sucks as a corner and he sucked preseason also. (how about he get some guys that are actually decent at coverage skills and if they arnt get someone whom is).

Not sure whom you were watching in preseason.. but Underwood showed some very solid potential in my eyes as a cover corner.. where I knock him is he seems very weak upper body.. when he tried to jam or press he struggled... but in open space I thought he kid did pretty well for a rookie "green" player.
I wouldn't sell him out at this point.. remember he was a rookie. ;)

ha ya well thats why if I had a choice Id give these 'kids' this preseason else cut or not play them much.
No excuse about being a rookie! 🙂 I want all our corners to be just as good as woodson or harris :)
I should add the biggest problem I saw with our D this year was - our coverage was not as good as previous years and for a 3-4 we sure had a hard time with the sacks.

Well then.. Dulak the GM you better work the phones on trade to get a veteran corner that has gone through the growing pains of adjusting to the speed and just as importantly the NFL rules of the game... better yet.. you better be ready to sell out the 2010 draft to get a premier corner and be willing to pay him through the nose... Call Al.. I sure we can work something out.. lol.
Because there probably isn't a rookie coming out this year that is a can't miss NFL corner...
Fact is.. IMO, you have to develop most of the corners in this league.. use Al Harris as an example.. he was a nickel back in Philly for a number of years before coming to Green Bay.. go back and find some tape of him then and you will probably see holes in his game then.
Hell Williams has been developing for a couple years now... Woodson was a "special" player coming out of college and a very high draft pick.. those types of corners come along somewhat rarely.
Personally... I think Underwood is one of those guys that has the length, speed and ball skills to play in this league quite well.. but he isn't a special player like Woodson that it comes without experience and more naturally. Plus I think he needs to develop his body and strength to play in this league.
IMO... you need to give them a couple years to develop.
Now.. Blackmon.. I would agree needs to one stay healthy and improve... same goes for Lee.. they have a couple camps under them.. so the rope is shorter to speak.
