I don't think KGB was a project in 2000. He was a pass rush specialist in college. That is what they drafted him to do and he did it well.

so after knocking ted for drafting projects in the 5th round you could only name one from 10 years ago? sweet

Clearly you have no idea what I am saying.
It is not something new that a 5th, 6th or 7th round draft pick is somewhat of a reach. Otherwise they would be 1st round picks.
What you asked for was just one 5th round pick that was not considered to be a project. I looked for the best example of a player who was selected in the 5th round and was not a project. The reason for KBG not being selected earlier was because he was considered to be more of a one dimensional player. GB selected him to do exactly what he did. rush the QB thus he was not considered to be a project. He did grow and develop into more than just a pass rush specialist but that was a bonus.
My point was that Ted (and I am not knocking him, merely making an observation.) seems to like to select players who other teams have passed on or players that other teams would prefer to wait a few rounds before they select. Some times it works out some times it does not.
Harrolle, Finley, Breno, Starks, Flynn, Rouse were all considered to be a reach by some. This is just a quick list. I am not going to rehash all of the past drafts.
