Has anyone heard anything new since he had a sore back on, what?, Thursday? Has he been back at practice since his kid was born? How has he looked?

I believe he played on Saturday and has been practicing. He got knocked down quite a bit by cut blockers in the game. I don't know how he looked in practice.

He played a few snaps Saturday, and practiced yesterday. Not sure he looked.

Yikes! I didn't notice anything either positive or negative about his performance. I didn't realize he did so badly, I suppose because the Seahawks were not having a lot of success on offense in the second half.

This makes Thursday's game at Indy a very important one for Harrell. He needs to bounce back.

Of course, we all know how Bob McGinn feels about Harrell. Here's a positive report on Harrell from training camp today:

Good to hear that he had a good showing in practice today, although I noticed that this writer shares McGinn's low opinion of Harrell's performance against Seattle.

Whoops... for some reason I thought the "Packers must give up on Justin Harrell" article was written by Bob McGinn, but it's by Vandermause. My bad.

So if YOUR wife was having a baby, you'd rather be at training camp than being there with her?

"Nonstopdrivel" wrote:

Dude, what does this have anything to do with what I wrote? Obviously, I have no problem with Harrell's leaving training camp for the birth of his child. My rhetorical question was in reference to people who took umbrage with Vandermause's criticizing Harrell so soon after the birth of his child. The fact he's a new father should not exempt him from criticism. He's done nothing. He's a fair target for criticism, whether or not his wife just had a baby.

If someone has any kind of evidence that suggest Harrell isn't the 5th best DL on the roster, then we have something to talk about. I think we keep 6 this year: Pickett, Raji, Jenkins, Neal, Harrell, and Toribio. The rotation is up to their coach. If Jolly wasn't such a dumbass, then I'm on board with shitcanning Harrell, but we don't have much choice do we?

For where Harrell was drafted, he is a bust; but he same can be said for Hawk. Anything from Harrell this season is gravy. I just hope none of the starters have any season ending injuries. We have lived without d-line depth for quite some time now.

IMO, Hawk is no where near a bust.
