I've said it twice in my posts guys I'm not defending the kid. He got what the cop thought he deserved. My problem is that the cop thought he deserved a tazing. Maybe if the kid brandished a gun. Otherwise just tackle him, I would have nothing wrong with the situation if the kid broke an arm while getting tackled. Tazing is just meant for dangerous situations and this wasn't that dangerous. It's just a stupid kid. Abuse of power is my only concern.

The cop couldn't CATCH the kid. Was he supposed to run around the field for a half hour, hoping the kid would eventually get tired?
Sorry....i don't feel sorry for the kid, and i don't blame the cop one bit for what he did. He ended the problem the quickest, safest way he could.

And again, no one knew for sure what exactly this kid intended to do. What if he pulls a knife and stabs a player?
You can't KNOW for sure what anyone intends to do when they break the law. And in the end, that's what he did. He KNEW he was breaking the law, and CHOSE to do it. What happened to him afterwards is his own fault.
