I tried to watch the video... but just couldn't do it. Too much pain.

OK, watching that play just reminded me of why I was so pissed off after that game. Has nothing to do with our DBs and everything to do with why the **** were we rushing only 3 people? Geez, look at Roethlisburger. All the time in the ****** world.

Normally I hate the prevent defense, as well, but in that case, I couldn't help but agree with the call.

The Steelers where on our 19 yard line. If you zone out the end zone and keep guys in man under once the receivers get to the end zone, there should be no way that that pass can get completed.

The biggest problem came with Bigby not being in position and the complete lack of even a 3 man rush, because Jenkins and Raji where on the bench. We where bringing Wynn, Jolly and Kampman.

The only thing more amusing than Rock's sarcasm in this thread was the failure of everyone else to catch it. Considering I caught Rock's point instantly, I guess I think more like Rock than I realized, and that's a scary thought.

Failure by everyone? He used quotes which is universally understood as actual comments from said person and then to add more to this he cited Packers.com as a implied source for this information.

I don't think there was any failure here other than by the original poster who falsely cited a source and misused quotations without any indication it was not factual.

And of course you caught it ... IMMEDIATELY ... because you're different and better than the rest. We get it. You're smarter than us all. We still don't much care. Now go sleep with your girlfriend while your wife watches, lucky asshole. ;)

Lol. I know, it was a little vague. Got one step ahead of myself.

And I very much doubt that Rourke would bang his girlfriend while his wife is watching.

He'd just do them both.

I think on the winner pass and catch there arr things we would do differently next time e.g. rush better pass rushers.

But it was a superb throw and catch and sometimes you have to take your hat off and admit you were beat by a great play. The other team is allowed to make plays too.

As for Bell, he's been completely forgotten by most and when I posted a thread asking people to select their DB roster for 2011 he was cut by everyone.

But the guy started for Denver and was released only after he was injured.

It would be great if he came out and nailed down the dime back spot in training camp. He's still young and very cheap.

Josh Bell started 5 games in 2008 due to injuries to their defensive backs. Even Jarrett Bush started 3 games for us last season. That doesn't mean he's good.

He was barely in their roster anyway, so I don't think they released him just because he was injured.

Who do you expect us to keep on the roster, if Bell is someone we should keep? Woodson, Harris, Williams, Blackmon, Lee, Underwood, Bell plus potential draft picks?

Alright, this will probably go the way of a chicken vs egg debate but a four man rush may have hurried Ben R. He may not have had time to find that open WR.

Remember the argument that with enough time, a QB will find an open receiver.

I hate our lack of aggression when it's important. I'd much rather die swinging than die praying.

I don't see room for Bell on our roster, if we select 1 CB and 1 S in the draft we're going to be cutting some good players, or at least players we've kept previously.

I was just imagining the fight in TC if Bell came out of the blocks and surprised a few people. I don't see it happening though.

When we signed Josh Bell, I was moderately excited. I knew nothing of him, except that he wasn't Jarrett Bush. I used to be a Bush supporter, but other than special teams, I just don't see him contributing effectively for us.

Kevin took my self-deprecating jab at Detlev as an expression of superiority on my part? Now that IS funny. Your insecurities don't become you, buddy. ;)

As for my wife and my girlfriend, I wouldn't fuck the latter in front of the former. She's too shy. :P

But girls are remarkably resilient creatures. Who knows what will happen in the future? 😃

dfosterf (9h) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (20h) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (23h) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : Well he can always ask his brother for pointers
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : Bo Melton taking some reps at CB as well as WR
