Let's go back to the OT only. If the play where College gets called for holding, there was an obviuos blow to the head. Okay those offset, so it's 2nd and ten. The next play Rodgers hits Jones for fifteen, would be a first down. Then if they call the facemask/blow to head on Adams, we're at the 50.

We have the right to claim sodomy here boys, and it's only one ref involved, the guy that's suppose to be back there protecting the quarterback.

I'm all for being the bigger man, but BS is BS.

And I don't get this. Because we didn't execute on the play before, the officials are allowed to miss calls? What kind of BS is that? How is it ok for them to miss obvious calls because our defense couldn't stop their offense and vice versa. Or because Rodgers missed an open Jennings.

It was terrible officiating. You start pointing the fingers at yourself first, but officials need to be aware of things.

I don't like the rule, but they could've thrown a flag on Mike Adams on the last play. He went at the face of Rodgers. They've called that all season. They didn't on the play.

Fitzgerald got away with a push off in the endzone. The first TD was maybe just some stumbling going around. Jenkins was held on one TD. The horsecaller call on the Cards was bad too. The personal foul was an awful call early in the game. He got pushed a little and didn't even fall over. Something must've been said. That is the only explanation.

The Packers have to clean somethings up, but so do the refs.

I don't want to sound like the Packers got screwed. They loss because their defense couldn't stop the Cards, but I would hate to see a game in the Super Bowl called like this or vice versa regardless of the teams.

Fitz push off that knocked down C-Wood ticked me off. I mean, if a D player does that to an O player, it's a flag. But Fitz can just shove down Woody, and no call? That would have nullified the TD. And who knows what would have happened? Maybe they don't score.
It was SO obvious, and no call.
These refs get PAID to make the calls, and they miss OBVIOUS ones like that?
They need to get refs that can SEE.

Amen to all of that. I'm still quite upset with the missed calls, especially the roughing/facemasks on Rodgers.

Fitzgerald kept pushing Woodson down and never got called for any of it.

Officiating has got to get better. I'm so tired of seeing a late flag on PI or late hits. If its a penalty, call it. Dont wait for a reaction or coach screaming in your ear.

The first time Woodson fell covering Fitz, I said "ok, that was incidental." The second time Fitz, under his own power, ran straight into Woodson and knocked him over, was total horse shit. It might not be what the refs look for in a traditional OPI(OPI usually is just push offs, or blatant tackling of a defender) but a defensive player would not be able to just run and collide with a player. That would be instantaneous illegal contact.

The non calls in OT were pretty bad.

The reason we lost was our defense not being able to get a stop. I don't even think that's debatable.

However, the reason we didn't win was because of terrible officiating.

I don't care if calling that makes the audience or the media hostile. You do the right thing.
