Rodgers is the best  QB  ever .

Damn right. Those stats clearly show he's better than that ass clown Peyton Manning. :thumbright:

Now, what were we arguing about again?

It's fairly obvious that Rodgers is a modern football god. It would be dumb to argue against it.

Haha guys, if you have truly watched Rodgers some of those passes the WRs have to dive for them. He hasn't have been as accurate as he should be.

Instead of McCarthyism some of your guys are on Aaron Rodgerism 😛 He is good guys but he has yet to be as good as last year.

He's also been sacked significantly more than last year.

OK, my brain now hurts after reading this fallacy. I cannot let it slide.

Rodgers isn't as good as last year? Are you drunk? High? A mixture of Seagram's and Ambien? Anyways, you obviously need to see a doctor because you are suffering from a form of dyslexia - I can tell because you can't read stats, I assume. You're also showing some Favreian symptoms that I just cannot recommend you get cleaned up at once.

Doctor's orders: The prescription for this is to go to this website and peruse the stat sheet of Aaron Rodgers. You'll notice that he has - or is on pace to - improve his comp %, yards, QB rating, TDs, yards per comp, yards a game, interceptions and so on.

Conclusion: Rodgers is much better this year than last, and you smell like my cat's buttocks.

Lets not take things to extremes. My proposed question was not that Rodgers sucks and cannot throw. It was just that their were a couple throws in each of the last 2-3 games where Rodgers has missed the mark on 5-10 yd passes with the WR fairly open. Ninja is right that the WR had to make a great jump or dive to complete the pass. From a stats point of view, these would just show up as completions. In terms of the game about two of these almost killed the receiver.

I agree that sometimes it is hard to tell whether it was the QB accuracy or the WR missing his route: Football is a team sport.

I think I got my answer though in that few are concerned about his accuracy in the short game. I might just be nitpicking.

OK, homework assignment for anyone who is complaining about Rodgers' accuracy. Watch the following - the last 3 games of Aaron Rodgers, the last 3 games of Peyton Manning and the last 3 games of Tom Brady.

You will notice that Aaron Rodgers is better than the other 2 when it comes to accuracy. You will also notice that the other 2 miss "easy" passes occasionally too. You will also notice the other two, especially that Peyton Manning ass clown, throw INTs, something Aaron hasn't done in his last 3 games.

I'd much rather him miss an easy pass occasionally than throw an INT. Everyone misses an occasional chip shot. After all, we're all human. Even Aaron Rodgers.

what a weird thread.

i don't think there's anything wrong with the OP's question. after all, sometimes its hard to find other things to talk about. and there have been times when he's seemed to be a bit off-accuracy-wise. not in the sense of playing bad, or even in the sense of making "mistakes", but in the sense of being behind the receiver more often or low with the pass or high with the pass more often.

on the other hand, if you were to list the packer roster from 1 to 53, with "biggest concern" (someone on OL) being #1, and "least concern (Woodson) being 53, Rodgers has to be somewhere in the fifties or high forties at worst.

again, this is not meant to be a criticism of the OP. i just am always a bit bemused at how much time we spend debating a player who is among the people in green and gold who we need to worry about least.

i wonder, maybe it's AR's porn star look that's the problem. we naturally start to think about how close he gets to what he aims at. and, pardon the multiple puns, since we can't come clean about our real interest we rag on Aaron as if he were Ron Jeremy.
