Has anyone noticed that Rodgers accuracy has been suspect on a few short throws over the past couple weeks? Overall he has done very well on many explosive plays but I have noticed that he occasionally throws a ball and I am just wondering what happened. Some of these plays has really put some of our receivers in a dangerous situation.

Do you think it is jitters?

Overall though his stats obviously show his play is great and I guess nobody can be perfect.

Only thing i really noticed was the few passes where he wasn't leading his receivers.

Exactly. I can understand if their is a DB and he wants to throw to the WR back shoulder to keep it away from the defense but he seem to wiff occasionally on short wide open plays.

I think Rodgers' accuracy is one of the last things I am worried about.

Rodgers accuracy improves when he plants his left foot. I think he's rushing throws to avoid getting sacked.

Yeah makes sense. But man there has been numerous times where Rodgers has made a big play with that ugly looking throw where he like jumps and does some ballerina stuff.

I haven't noticed a problem with Rodgers' accuracy. I think he is one of the most accurate QB's in the league, and if anything he seems to be improving as the season goes on.

I worry more about the receivers dropping his passes than his passes being accurate. His footing sometimes leaves room for improvement, but more times than not, the reason for a incomplete pass is the receiver dropping it.

Especially at the beginning of the season WRs were much more responsible for dropped balls. I also agree that over his careers, Rodgers is very accurate. I just noticed that he had some odd throws in the past 2-3 games that were off the mark when the WR was quite open. He almost got Lee killed with a high pass last week also.

I wonder if it is an issue where he is hurrying the ball out and not getting set perfectly. I actually like that idea because I have been so pleased to see quicker execution after the snap in the past 2-3 games. Maybe he is just getting used to the quicker and shorter tempo.
