Some of you do not get it. You cheer today because it did not affect the win, you will bitch and complain when he throws the flag and it hurts us in a game for stupidity (ie Nelson's TD). Wasted timeout for no reason.

I thought I said this twice before. I'll say it again.

What was the consequence of the third challenge being called? Nothing. What did it do to the Cowboys? It stopped their momentum.

Bonehead call or not, it gave the defense a breather and slowed down the Cowboys offense.

So we can count on the refs screwing up the call each week? The only reason it didn't hurt was because they didn't assess the delay of game penalty they were supposed to. The third challenge was stupid, and we got lucky the refs are even more stupid than that.

i disagree. the only one which looked close was the iffy catch/possession at the end when we didn't really have a challenge.

Who the heck cares?
We won, and beat the hated Cowboys, sending Jerry Jones home crying.
Isn't that what matters???
Yes, had we been "hosed", i'd be complaining. And i don't blame Cowboy fans for complaining.
But we have been "hosed" too in the past. This just helped even it out.

WE WON!!! ENJOY IT INSTEAD OF NIT PICKING!

lol. maybe i'm remembering it wrong. i was playing Dragon Age throughout most of the game because i was too pissed at the season thus far and too worried about being in a shit mood all day and having wasted three hours.

maybe i am just thinking of the last two challenges.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

McCarthy should have won the second challenge if he would have challenged the spot of the ball, instead of going all out for the TD.

Even though we lost that one, I am still upset that the refs did not reposition the ball at the 1/2 yard line instead of keeping it at the 1. Not a big difference. At least this way Rodgers got credit for a full yard on the TD.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

What a asinine comment.

This goes to the masses here. I'm just not sure how such petty things get blown so large and grow legs for so long with ya.

Agreed. That catch was questionable. They showed the review a few times and I'm not so sure it was a catch.

i gotta agree with packer98 as well - it's easy now to say there were no consequences & we won.

had we lost, trust me, this would have been an issue.

even if it hadn't truly affected the outcome, it STILL would have been an issue.

"Zero2Cool" wrote:

We sure love to complain huh?

I mean, well if this wouldn't have happened and this did happen, my gosh, it would be BAD!

Here's the thing. It didn't happen, we won. Enjoy it. Does it mean we're Super Bowl contenders? No, it means we scored more points than the Cowboys. So Mike McCarthy isn't the brightest bulb on the tree, who thought differently anyhow?

I just don't see the point in crying over spilled milk here, especially when its ALMOST spilled milk.

"4PackGirl" wrote:

i didn't think i was complaining. just giving my honest opinion on what would have happened had we lost. i'm happy as hell that we won but still think to throw the red flag on what was clearly a correct call is just stupid.

I mean "we" as in WE, us, not just one specific person. Your quote was just an example. Sorry, please spank me. Err don't.
