Take the "Hate Level" of the biggest G.M. hater on this forum and multiply it by 10.

That would be me as a "Coach Hater" on on this forum, if they hired Sannahan.

Is there no memory here.... this weasel faced, cap cheating fuck-head, cost the Packers a Super Bowl Win.

I would rather eat my own feces for breakfast every morning for a year, then have this menstrual breath dick head walking the sidelines at historic Lambeau as a head coach.

Of the 'available' guys, I think it's Gruden, with Mooch a somewhat-distant second - Mooch is too nice, and this team needs Not Nice. This team needs Fear, and Chucky would bring that Fear. GB is a total WCO team, and changing that makes no sense. This team (and its QB) needs a coach they can fear.

If I were Thompson I'd let Mike McCarthy know that the Dallas game is his GB HC career - and a win will only buy him one more game. Game-by-game - first loss and Capers is installed as interim HC for the balance of the season. Sounds extreme, but the message has to be sent to everyone involved with the team that under-performing won't be tolerated. And honestly, they're at a point now that each additional loss is another nail in the coffin for this season.

Sorry for the ramble - my choice would be Gruden.

DD80.....this post is for you. I have finally come part way over to "the dark side".
If Ted Thompson wants to keep me as a supporter of his, he needs to fire Mike McCarthy NOW.
Mike McCarthy has proven to me to be unable to coach a team. He can't motivate them to do anything right. Can't "fix" anything. He needs to go NOW, so that SOME coach (i don't even care WHO right now) can come in and at least salvage some respect for the rest of the year.
I look at our schedule and i don't see anyone that doesn't strike fear into me as a Packer fan. I mean, if you get manhandled by an 0-7 team, you better fear EVERYONE. Even the Lions.

WTF i already told you people i am not taking people on the darkside 😛 So Cheesey i'm sorry to say this but the train has left the station 🙂
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Regardless of whether Mike McCarthy is fired -- I'm not so sure I'd advocate firing him in the middle of the season -- I do think he should be relieved of playcalling duties, effective immediately. We are on the cusp of seeing the career of one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the league go up in flames on the altar of a head coach's stubbornness.

Aaron Rodgers played a pro-style offense in college and excelled at it. He was little short of spectacular, in fact. Why are we forcing him to play in a spread-style offense instead of catering to his strengths? We have put a target on his chest and essentially dared teams to come for him.

Mike McCarthy drafted Alex Smith over Aaron Rodgers. He's clearly not treating his quarterback with the respect he deserves. Does he harbor some secret grudge against one of the top-flight young talents in this league?

"Nonstopdrivel" wrote:

I dont get it, if this team has one bright spot it's certainly Rodgers and the receivers. Yea he holds the ball too long some times but he's trying to make plays. QB is the one area along with WR that we're all set for a while at. I could probably count on one hand the number of qb's who played as well as Rodgers in their 2nd year as a starter.

I'm agreeing on that Rodgers is a good player. I'm disagreeing with the criticism of the offense. Not every play call can work out perfectly. Once Rodgers knows the plays like the back of his hand, he will get the ball to his safety valves more often and get rid of the ball. It takes time. Whats this? His 24th start? Name me a qb who has ever played better after 24 starts. I'm sure there's someone but there arent many. 110 qb rating coming into the game and were it not for special teams play, we win this one too.

Basically, what i dont like about MM is some play calls. Too many deep routes with few underneath options, too many fullback dives on 2nd and long and predictable play calling. I don't see it as a huge deal but something to be addressed for sure.

The main issues are the inconsistent defensive lapses and the failure of our GM to put a decent o-line together. Clay Mathews is a nice player but we could have had a great tackle in the draft rather than a guy who we really didnt need. Kampman is a non factor this season whereas he was a top 5 D-lineman for the previous few years. If he doesn't fit into the new scheme, realize it early and trade him for a guy who can help us rather than trying to make something fit. It's the stubborness of our GM that is hurting us, not MM in my opinion.

I have finally switched over...Mike McCarthy must go! The constant shots downfield instead of chain moving, SAME stupid penalties...if it's a good return, there's most certainly a holding penalty! Draw plays on on 3rd and VERY long. "We'll fix it...I can't answer that till I watch the film...we'll get better"...blah blah blah....so tired of ALL of it!

Gruden, Mooch or Cowher I guess?

I know I'll get laughed at for this.

I think we have the TALENT to be a good team.

I do not think we have a coaching staff that can CONSISTENTLY bring out that talent enough to win games.

I don't see a sense of urgency hardly ever with this team. Offensively, Defensively, nothing.

Maybe this is wrong of me, but I think when a player does something bad or awful, I want to see a coach getting in his face and straightening that out. I did see mm do that with Jones today. I think it needs to be done more.

When mm was hired we heard about this Pittsburgh Macho thing. Where is it? I think he's a creme puff to be honest with you. How else do you explain having the same problem every week, coach knows it, coach talks about it, yet the same results? To me, that means the team doesn't respect the coach.
