Exactly Non.

Shotgun what has to be 75% of the snaps. When you run the shotgun that often, the instant slant is pretty much taken away, because the ball has air time even to get to the QB, then the grip has to be adjusted. Plus the Dline can tee off, because they are able to learn the Center, who is now responsible for the timing. No hard count to throw the defense off.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I would love to see numbers on how often Rodgers' predecessor was in the shotgun while in Green Bay. I doubt it was even 30% of the time and I'd bet it was significantly less than 20%. I was always a little surprised when he lined up in the shotgun. It was usually on third and long.

Of course, this team is usually in third and long, but we're starting in the shotgun on first and second downs too.

Actually, NSD, I think the predecessor was in the shotgun a lot in 2007. But that's my notoriously bad memory.

Of course, 2007 was within the Mike McCarthy era. I was speaking historically, during his entire tenure in Green Bay. Maybe I forgot to put that in my sentence. If so, I apologize for not clarifying.

The Cowboys are gonna destroy us next week.

I have tried to remain positive. But how can you, with the same damn mistakes every week? No pass rush, special teams giving up HUGE plays, no pass protection. Penalties. Same crap every week. And it never gets any better.
Mike McCarthy needs to be shown the door. He has shown he has no clue how to "fix" anything.

Not to mention all the "reputation" penalties on defense.

I guess the Packers can't afford to fire anybody and hire anyone else.
Funny that they could afford to offer Favre 20-25 million not to play.

Since we can't afford to fire Thompson and McCarthy I'm betting at least Slocum will be fired.

They weren't going to pay him "not to play"

When Favre finally retires, the Packers cannot sell any Favre merchendise without his permission. The $20 million dollar offer was a marketing deal that would have allowed the Packers to profit off of his name when he retires.
