PS. We need Spitz back. Wells isn't playing any better than either tackle position. It just doesn't get noted as much.

You can see the line calls and pick up differences from the games that Wells plays to Spitz.. IMO, Spitz is the best lineman currently we have.. and him being down has hurt us for sure.

Wells is a try hard effort player.. just not overly effective.

Very True. Center in critical in pass blocking for that area to step up in. There was one sack of Rodgers, where he tried to step up, and still go sacked because he ran out of room forward because one of the Williams was there. Not sure if that was Wells or Colledge, but it was an interior player blocking that got moved to far backwards.

I would not play Cliffy unless it is absolutely necessary. Tausch I would get some reps if he is 100% or very near. We will need both down the road and should not need them Sunday.

I know this can be a scary game. Away, after a tough loss to your biggest rival with another disliked team coming in the week after. But I think not risking tweaking an injury or reinjuring them is best right now.

My SUSPICION with Cliffy and the penalties is MOSTLY this.

He is doing everything in his power to keep from getting beat man on man.

Through the injuries, he has been debilitated in speed and strength. He is "cheating" to accommodate.

It's not personal, I like Cliffy. I think he's done. His past performances are no reason to think that he can be relied upon now. I am speaking of past years performances.

Tausch is a complete question mark. We certainly look like we need to see.

Barbre sucks, imo.

The situation with Tausch could EASILY be worse than the situation with Cliffy.

IF Tausch can go, put him out there. Put Lang out there. GIVE LANG HELP if he needs it.

GIVE TAUSCH HELP if he needs it, but Lang doesn't. If BOTH need help (probably somewhat likely) TRY Barbre at RT again, keep the help for Lang.

Cliffy as last resort in the event of an injury to Lang.

Did I mention that I think Cliffy is done?

Who would you rather have blocking? Donald Lee or Breno Giacomini?--On this line?

Actually, I think it's pretty much a toss-up.

I have zero confidence in Breno. He can't even be active every game on a team whose starting RT is Allen Barbre.

Not that I"m a fan of Donald Lee as a blocker. I'm not. But at least when he whiffs he's capable of being an eligible receiver/outlet target.

Only thing Breno has going for him is an extra 50 pounds.

Almost does not matter who you throw in that line...the coaching and cohesion are horrible...as a unit they seem destined to fail miserably this season. For this alone, I would have to consider the future of MM. I like the guy in general terms, but he seems over his head when he cannot get his team to play smart, and show a little fucking passion.

Sadly, I also thing that the game may have passed Capers by. Against anyone but the league's invalids, his defense does not make plays, and fails with nearly the consistency of last years.

This has the makings of another very frustrating season.

When do the Packers run the 2 TE formation? Because Rodgers has been phenomenal when they have 2 TE's in.

19/23 389 yards 82.6% 17 ypa 7 TD's 0 INT's 2 Sacks 158.3 qb rating.

All of it worthy of discussion, and, as always, your opinion is highly respected by yours truly.

They have boats now that you can waterski behind without a driver. The waterskier controls the boat. I am going to the Marina and investigating. Really.

BTW--- To all you people that fucking sit there and read all this...

My opinion is awesome. I have it all figured out.

Just like you do.

Your opinion is DEFINITELY more valuable than mine, amongst the "regulars". I SEE you!

beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress

dfosterf (7-Aug) : Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon on the waterfront here in Alexandria, Va. A daycare company took about 15 three/four year olds

Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Sure does feel like site is more snappy
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : I thought that was the Lions OL
Mucky Tundra (6-Aug) : Travis Glover placed on IR; seasons over for him
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : found bad sql in database, maybe site faster now?
dfosterf (5-Aug) : I'm going to call that a good move.
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Packers sign CB Corey Ballentine
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Hey i didn't know we could trade picks in fantasy
