Butler gives great analysis. He's ripped Favre in the past too. When the story came out about Favre giving the Loins inside info last year on how to beat the Pack, Butler came out and said there could be alot more, far worse stories about Favre coming out.
Seems to me Butler's got some inside scoop.

Has anyone read Lawrence Taylor's book? It's pretty brutally honest. I've read half of it. Gives some insight on how reckless football players are off the field. Like I've said before, making gobs of money in your 20s is NOT a good thing.

If Butler writes one, I'll read it.

Going to college in Green Bay during the early 90's, I can tell you some of the spoken stories of the time.. back rooms in bars and his companions, locking establishments up at dawn during game weeks, and things of that ilk. Nothing more than most college age and young adults do, although he had other commitments to worry about.

He wasn't big time yet.. I never witnessed it, but it was talked about at the time often.. three were always in the stories, Frank Winters, Mark Chumura, and Brett Favre.

I seen him downtown a couple of times, never met him until a few years later at his brothers pub.

Yup my ex g/f was at Norbert during those times and witnessed said events and in limos I might add...

so when people whine about Rodgers and the things he does, I just think....People had no clue what Brett was up to at night while his g/f sat at home with HIS daughter

But I wonder if a book came out how many die hard fans would just dismiss the book as all lies

Whe I read this... I took note to the fact that he stated Rodgers has the rating in the NFC.

I did not realize he is second in the NFL behind only Payton.

Interesting

I hate the Mannings and was originally hoping Brees would get the MVP so that Peyton won't get his 4th. Who knows? By the end of the season, there's a shot of Aaron getting his 1st. That would be awesome. :rr:

When Favre had his restaurant in Milwaukee, my wife and i went there on a slow night. The guy who waited on us told us MANY stories of the things he saw Favre and his buddies do in his private back room. The waiter even took us back to show us his room.
If half of what they guy said was true, i'm surprised Deanna stayed with him.

Favre like any other man is only human.. he bleeds, breathes and makes mistakes like the rest of us.

So does Rodgers.. to error is to be human, to forgive is..

To be fair.. he wasn't married in the early 90's.. I can't speak past that.

Considering Deanna packed up her bags more than once and Favre reportedly begged her on his knees to return, I think it can be safely said he wasn't a good husband. My personal theory is he eventually did a 180 and is now a fairly week husband; Deanna and his agent seem to regiment his life more than I would consider healthy. But that's off-topic.

Plus I'm not saying anything I haven't said a dozen times before, so I'll shut up.
