Hey mike, this hot dog tastes like crap. "well, we are gonna have to look at the factory that made them and fix it. It will taste much better next week."

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Name Cowher as head coach and Gruden as OC. Bring in Mooch to handle press conferences when we win, Denny Green when we lose. Holmgren gets to be quarterbacks coach under Gruden. Parcels has to be sick of Miami by now, so he gets to replace Thompson. That should make Green Bay interesting again.

You don't need ketchup, or mustard. Just get that bun level down and everything is alright.

So I don't mean to dig up an old thread but I didn't want to create a new one. From what I heard this morning on Mike and Mike in the Morning is that Bill Cohwer is asking for 10 million a year to coach next year? I don't know if this holds water but if Mike and Mike are talking about it I am sure it holds some truth.

Holy shit.

Mike and Mike said it perfectly this morning that Jerry Jones would be the only one to fork over that kind of money.

Also, in the talks (being in Chicago) is that the Bears want Lovie Smith gone and Mike Shanahan in. Another guy asking for a big pay day. However, in his case, the Broncos owe him $13 mill so they will pay that for wherever he coaches, don't know how that works out.

Just thought this was an interesting.

If they do get rid of Mike I want to retain him also. I mean, we ARE paying him a bunch of money, and I have NEVER been comfortable with our combination plumber / beer dispenser position in this organization. I feel that Mike should take over crapper repair duties in the event he gets "shit-canned".

I really think a beer dispenser technician has no business in the urinals and crappers, and further should be tasked with the high-priority task of keeping the brew flowing to the taps.

Mike can apprentice under him, but I don't think he should be allowed to touch anything other than the shitters and urinals, at least while under the auspices of his existing contract. If he wishes to stay on past the expiration of the contract at a more appropriate figure, something around minimum wage..well, at that time I would recommend that the issue of him being authorized to touch anything besides the crappers and pissers could be revisited.

This is only in the event of his termination as Head Coach, I remind you.

Plan b would be to rehire the terminated groundskeeper and let Mike work for him.

I read the opening post and I think in a business like football, you should upgrade every position if possible, as long as you have team chemistry. For example, TO 2 years ago would have been an upgrade over Driver but I'd much rather have Driver because of chemistry issues.

That said, that includes Coach and GM as well. I actually think Ted Thompson is doing much better than MM. I'm not so convinced he needs to go. However, Cowher would be a big upgrade over MM. So would Gruden.

I wonder how an Aaron Rodgers would get along with a Jon Gruden?

NFP- Brandt; Rodgers revenge

Friendly reminder:

Team after team passed on Rodgers, setting up the Packers at the 24th selection. Once Tampa Bay passed with the fifth pick Jon Gruden had promised Aaron he would take him if he were there it became clear that, as the Snickers commercial says, this could take a while

Yes... I read this.

It bothered me a great deal. Lovie should be retained, they just need a new GM.

It bothered me so much I posted a comment about this on the site.

I love "Lovie"
