Yes I did notice it on some times Rodgers could of just threw the ball and held it too long in which those cases I would rather have him throw it away or make a play with his legs instead of getting a sack.

If Rodgers used his legs 2-3 times more in yesterdays game I'm sure he would of had 2-3 sacks less. Now I'm not saying he needs to do it cause that's not what a QB needs to do but if your o-line is like that I think that's your best option.

There is no freaking doubt that Rodgers allowed a couple of those sacks with trying to keep the play alive..

Maybe he is trying to make the line look worse on the stats sheet to try and force Ted to add some talent along the line.. at this pace Flynn will be starting by week 9 due to injury.

Yes, our line is that pathetic, but Rodgers hasn't yet developed that complete feel for the pass rush to instinctively know when the bail on a play. But I can't beat to much on Rodgers last night.. kid played a whale of a game.

Ya know what.. I say piss on it. I might walk in this morning and fire Campen and Fonteno and hire a veteran OLine coach this week. The line is in complete disarray, we aren't overly effective in either pass or run block.. go out and hire a veteran line coach to help shore this up as well.

Seriously, this group has been inconsistent for the word go with Campen as the position coach. Why not make a loud statement that enough is enough with the happy horse pucky.

BTW.. this isn't a panic type statement, more so a overdue move that should have been made at the very latest this past offseason.

People complained about Sherman holding onto Rossley too long.. this in my opinion is the same type of deal. Highly regarded or not.. past time to move the hell on.

Our guys can't block. Thats not on the coach, it's on the players.
They can't execute basic blocking. Fire the whole damn line and get someone in there who can block. Can't do much worse.

I don't think they can fix the line this far into the season by bringing in someone off the street. Even Tausch.
They just need to max protect with the backs and TE. It makes the WR less effective but that's what they have to live with.
Also take the deep route passes away. Make all the passes 3 step drops or screens.
The clean house after the season. Starting with the line coach and go on from there.

Teddy has screwed up big time and he gets 1 more chance to fix it. He has been too stubborn and prideful about "building thru the draft". That only works up to a point. You have to bring in at least 1 "quality" FA every year. The only way to get the quality player is to pay him top dollar. Reggie would never have come to GB if they would have offered to pay him the same as everyone else.
I realize there are a lot of big name players who don't want to play in GB. There is no reason for them to do so. There is no adv $ for GB players. In the past 15 years I can think of only 2 players who had national adv money. Both will be in the HOF. The Pro Bowl caliber player, the very good player is not going to see those bucks. (How many ads outside of WI do you see DD or Greg J in?) But Teddy doesn't want to open the purse strings and pass out the money. He would rather, for the most part, sign second level free agents but only if they are willing to sign for a discount.

How can the lack of development over the course of three years not be on the coach?

Colledge, Barbre, Breno, Moll were all brought here to be developed at Tackle.. none have developed to the point where they are solid enough to do the job.

I fail to see how that isn't a coaching related issue.. it isn't like we groomed our interior lineman in any sense of time.. I have grown tired of the excused made for this line.. it needs to be resolved and apparently we don't have the guys on hand that can do it.

Should they fire them midseason.. probably not, but at this point I don't see a whole hell of a lot of downside to it.

But we seriously need to bring in a couple of folks to help shore it up and then cut this dead weight come the offseason.

First step in the right direction IMO, is get rid of the stupid ZBS. I know it as success around the league, but in GB it sucks. Most of these lineman, have been blocking for their entire careers. Switch now, get back to straight ahead power blocking, Hat on a hat.

I like Spitz and Sitton on the line, Saw them out taking care of Grant, like Wahle, Rivera and Tauscher always did. They seem to have to mentality that I like to see in lineman. Wells is OK, but needs to be replaced for next year.

Tackle is the problem. What we have isn't working, and any available player needs to be looked at. No stone unturned. I did like what I saw from Lang against a tired Allen. He has a nice first step. 1 time Allen beat him, looked like it was because the chip block never showed up.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

They got 2 weeks to blow this up..

They better get someone in there and get that person ready to play in 2 weeks.

I dont want them to wait till end of the season to TRY to fix this

Thats probably whats going to happen. MM is very slow to make adjustments. He isn't going to be satisfied until Rodgers leaves on a stretcher.

7 secs is what Brett had at one point and then threw a 25 yard pass...

I dvr'd the game and I am going to try and clock each pass att by Rodgers and get how much time he really had

Rodgers one a few occasions did hold onto the ball no doubt, but is he being coached to do that?

Zero2Cool (3h) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (6h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (6h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (8h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (8h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (8h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (8h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (8h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (8h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (8h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (8h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (8h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (8h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (8h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (8h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (9h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (10h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (10h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (10h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
