I don't think two more screens makes a difference in the game. I liked the fact that they ran more against Minnesota than I think they've ran all season and probably for quite a while. Hopefully that is a start, but this team shouldn't have to run seven or eight a game. Not with the passing game that they've potentially have.

If you got a better idea, I'm all ears. But until Cliffy is back and Ted Thompson gets off his a** and finds us another lineman...

I agree with Zombie couple of more screens. Some of the sacks Rodgers could of ran for some yardage but he shouldn't even be in a position to run if our o-line can actually hold the opposing team for more then 2 seconds.

No talent is no talent.
Can't fix that unless you bring talent in.

I've been a major T.T. supporter but if he rides the pine on this one I will lose all respect/faith in him. Get in a mother !@#$$% veteran NOW, as in TODAY! Tauscher was working out for KC last week, so jump on the frickin' ball Ted!

As others alluded to, to assist our pitiful line, short slants, screens, releasing grant...all good ideas, and we started to get into that last night, but need more since Rodgers has about 1.5 sec back in the pocket.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed after Rodgers threw the int that he seemed to hold the ball a little longer each time he went back. Yes the line was bad but there were a few times he could of just threw the ball away. I wanted him to shine last night and it seemed like he got the deer in headlights look as others brought up in chat. But then again this is only his 2nd year starting so maybe he will get more experience with this stuff.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

This is absolutely Campen's fault. I wanted him gone last year and they kept him for some unknown reason. Now I NEED him gone, for my sanity. He can't coach O-lines for shit. You don't have systemic breakdowns across the O-line for games at a time unless it's the coach's fault. I blame Campen, then McCarthy, then Thompson, in that order.

You know what the problem is? Most of the time, he didn't even hold on that long. Our perception is just so skewed because of this O-line, that anything longer than a 3 step drop is holding on to the ball too long.

I think he'll keep doing this. It's one of those characteristics that every QB has. Just like Favre always trying to throw it into tight spots. That problem got much more severe when he didn't have an O-line either.

I truly believe that, if we get a good O-line (And Dom calls some blitzes) that we'll be a contender again.

I'd even go as far as saying that we should try to trade for a tackle at this point. I wouldn't have minded throwing a whole lot of picks at Peters, but that's in hindsight. You could always call around and see if, for instance, the Titans want to trade their RT. No ones going to give up a great LT without having a great reason to do so, but with the way that Titans defense is playing now, you ought to get them interested in trading away Stewart for, maybe, a great DE...

Yes I did notice it on some times Rodgers could of just threw the ball and held it too long in which those cases I would rather have him throw it away or make a play with his legs instead of getting a sack.

If Rodgers used his legs 2-3 times more in yesterdays game I'm sure he would of had 2-3 sacks less. Now I'm not saying he needs to do it cause that's not what a QB needs to do but if your o-line is like that I think that's your best option.

The Packers have two weeks to fix the offensive line. How do you go about it?

This is my plan

Sign Levi Jones and Mark Tauscher.

Two veterans that can come in and fill in if there is an injury. Get them up to date with the offense and that shouldn't be hard for Tauscher.

To make room, cut Breno G and Evan Dietrich-Smith.

I agree 111%.. it is time to understand that this isn't working and fix the freaking problem with guys that have done it effectively before.

It might not be a long term fix, but we have to shore of the edges..

Some might piss and moan about cutting Breno, piss on it, it is apparent that he isn't ready to play. And he is PS eligible anyway.

Signing these two would give us 2 deep options at the edges and give us a 4 deep rotation on the interior for depth.. with Lang as a emergency filler along the entire line.

Break out that cap space Uncle Ted.. time to band aid this problem.
