Not on local media yet but he's been signed by the Bills.

I hope GB didn't have an opportunity to match. We need OT depth more than ever now. If I find out GB could have signed him but chose not to, I will be very perplexed.

Peachy.

I wonder if they just snagged him or if they gave the Pack the courtesy call.

Andrew Brandt mentioned this recently in one of his articles. He said that he almost always got notified by the team doing the "snatching up"...as a courtesy.

The obvious conclusion that can be drawn from that---Apparently there is no requirement to do so.

We would have had to sign him to the roster, meaning we would have had to cut somebody to make room.

Not sure who we would get rid of, to keep a player for the future. Though I expect some type of move made to get somebody on the line.

This guy should've never gone to the PS, if you ask me. You could see this coming easily. He had a 2-4th round grade with just about every team. You get a huge steal at your weakest position and then put him on the PS? That's pretty much asking for trouble.

I'm going to be very, very dissapointed if this guy will be a starter for the Bills in two years from now. He has both the physical tools and the brains to make it.

Dear lord. We're losing depth on a squad that has crap for depth. Not good.

My ?, doesn't the team that loses a ps player automatically get the chance to try and sign that player before he signs with someone else?

I remember watching the spcl on nfl network about The Cowboys, there was a guy who other teams wanted but he chose to sign with The Cowboys ps instead of moving on.

Maybe it is the playere who has that choice and not the team?

I am not that familiar with how the ps works.

Anybody who has more info:, it sure would be appreciated, seems like The Packers have a glutton of fb's, losing one of them to keep an OL IMHO would be the thing to do, with the current situation.

Signing Practice Squad Players
# Under the current NFL Practice Squad Rules, any player who is under contract on a scout team is free to sign a player contract with any team in the league, without compensation to the franchise whose practice squad he is a member of. However, the signing must be completed at least six days before the signing team's next game (10 days in the case of a bye week).
