Not only are we 12th, but we're third in our division based on those rankings. The NFC North should be much stronger this year, just not THAT strong.

Also,I am betting on Cutler being a bust. I have seen too many players think they are hot stuff and disregard the supporting cast that leads to their success. I guess we will find out this Sunday (Will the D shut down Olsen and the run?)

Peter King ranked the Packers 8th last year. That didn't work out so well. Lets let the games decide who's better.

Power ranking are interesting but really mean nothing. Esp in week 1.
I would prefer they start out ranked about 20th. I love watching the team climb week by week.

i love power rankings, i really do.. its just like an opinion of people that we dont hear when reading off of bias websites and packers news reports and things like that. i believe that we are in a good spot at twelve. that means were a playoff team right. but i think that the queens and the bears are really overrated so far this year. favre honestly isn't an effective qb anymore. i really thinik hes gunna be hurt by the time we play him.

I think they are neat to observe, not dwell upon them. I hope no one is punching a wall because the Bears were ranked higher than us. 😉

I love reading these things, just to get a national perspective on these guys view the packers. Does it mean anything? Of course not, but its fun to read and i like to keep up to date with them.

Even if it means nothing, I'll take being ranked 1st rather than 32nd any day of the week. It means we're at least showing some positives out on the field.
