Like when time matters more than yardage? How about instead of a "prevent D" deep quarters type crap, go to the 2-4-5 and give them multiple looks.

The first time Raji busts threw a double team and sacks the QB in a 2-4-5 D, I'm going to shatter my vocal chords screaming "Victory!" Johnny Drama style.

They are talking about this scheme coming out of the nickel or dime which means it's in a passing situation. This is obviously not how they will line up on first down, or, in a second down situation where they may run the ball, like 2nd and five.

What they are talking about here with two down lineman is that is one scheme in which they plan to use the quickness of LB's and DB's in order to get pressure on the QB in passing situations.

This is not what they will be using on first down or run downs.

This is pretty much the basis of the 3-4, you never know which 4 are going to rush. You could line up 2, and actually bring 5, who will the extra 3 be? Lots of variation you can have here.

I also hope our players get stronger and more aggressive. It's time to start throwing Minnesota's offensive line around and actually nail Adrian Peterson.

You see the Steelers use this defense a lot. I have always liked it because it seems like "controlled chaos."

Ravens Defense 

Just look at 28 seconds. That's what you can do with a package without a lot of D-linemen. They're playing a 1-5-5 from what I can see. The LBs are all walking around at the line of scrimmage, Romo has no idea who's coming and who isn't. Same goes for the center. The NT picks up the RG and C and at least one LB has a nearly free line to the QB.

Of course, that's not what our defense would look like instantly, but how awesome would it be to see them do that down the line. Maybe even later on in year one in a nickel package. My wet dream.
