I hate the coddling nonsense we extend to some.. especially those that get paid millions to play a game. No one cuddled me into learning to walking again... I see no reason to cuddle Harrell either.. earn it.

My wife made me go to her chiroquakter several years ago for a chronic shoulder injury.

That clown started talking his mumbo-jumbo, yada yada crap to me, and I told him basically to STFU.

What a quack.

Damn if he didn't fix it. I get these postcards from him all the time, wanting me to come in for a free "adjustment" (he never did that crap to me - he did different wacko shit)

Haven't been back, and no intention of going back...

Why?

F#cking whack-job FIXED it.

Sadly there are alot of guys in the profession that do different stuff that I wouldnt consider chiropractic. But they tout it as such.

And ya its alternative - technically anything that is different then the typical medical model (put things in take things out mentality).

Dulak--

I was definitely being "tongue-in-cheek" humorous. I actually love the guy, and he knows his stuff. I haven't figured out the "why" behind some of his stuff, but results do not lie.

As to the subject at hand, if I were Ted Thompson--

On the eve of Justin's honeymoon, I would call him into my office. I would say this to him. "Justin, congratulations on your marriage. Enjoy your honeymoon. Be advised that now that your admission that you bulked up again in the off-season has gone national in scope and dissemination, you are making all of us look like fools for even keeping you on this football team. You are now going to grow up. When you get off that aircraft at the completion of your trip to Jamaica, the bottom step will be a scale. You are going to step down onto that scale, and if the little needle goes so much as one fine red pubic hair past 320 lbs, I am going to personally release you from the Green Bay Packers right there on the tarmac."

I bet he would understand that one.

My question is how the fuck do you gain so much goddamn weight in a WEEK?

Congratulations on the nuptials, Justin, but you damn well better be working off some extra calories in bed -- and preferably, on the beach too.

You're just lucky that Ted Thompson is a much more patient man than I am.

ahh I missed that about the chiro doing 'energy work' ...

I agree - to me thats mombo jumbo - the guy probably did regular chiropractic also and this is what probably helped him.

Last year I was wondering if harrell was going/had gone to see a chiro ... looks like he had 😉

It's common knowledge that your first day picks are allotted three years to show a reason to be kept.

With that said, I believe he had a track record of injuries in college, it's followed him into the pros. I'd love to see this guy bust out and do great. However, I jus don't see it. If we could get a 6th rounder for him, see ya! lol j/k ... I think we give him this year ... put up or retire.

I don't see why everyone is making such a big deal about Harrell's weight. If we can fit all 340 pounds of BJ Raji at DE then Harrell at DE is no big problem. Yeah, I know he hasn't played up to his potential yet, but he's finally healthy for once, let's at least let him make it to training camp before we start trying to cut him. Plus, he looks pretty slim for a 325 pound man.

dfosterf (13-Aug) : a lower back injury
dfosterf (13-Aug) : Doubs says he's "fine" after injury scare. Some reported it as z
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : With LVN that is; need to see what happens in the next practice
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : beast, reading about what happened, it sounded like one of those "two guys collide and are moving slow afterwards" type of deals

Zero2Cool (9-Aug) : Woo-hoo
TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
