I don't see why everyone is making such a big deal about Harrell's weight. If we can fit all 340 pounds of BJ Raji at DE then Harrell at DE is no big problem. Yeah, I know he hasn't played up to his potential yet, but he's finally healthy for once, let's at least let him make it to training camp before we start trying to cut him. Plus, he looks pretty slim for a 325 pound man.

I was definitely being "tongue-in-cheek" humorous. I actually love the guy, and he knows his stuff. I haven't figured out the "why" behind some of his stuff, but results do not lie.

As to the subject at hand, if I were Ted Thompson--

he signed a 5 year deal, 15 million, 8 mil guaranteed. I bet he just chills on his fat but until year four when he will be playing for his next contract or he is out of the league after the 2011 season. im sure his base salary for 2010 and 2011 arent that high so he knows hes guaranteed this year 2009 salary. Hard to motivate people when you put 8 mil in their bank account before playing a single down.
