unhappy is a strong word. I can definitely, without a doubt, expect him to be uncomfortable, but unhappy is something totally different. Kampman went from being arguably the best player on the team to having to learn something brand new, at the bottom of the heap, possibly taking advice on the situation from some (gasp!) rookies. That's gotta be uncomfortable. Give it some time.

However... I would think that Kampy would RESPECT Greene, and listen to him. If Kevin is happy Kampy should at least see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I would love to be a freaking editor. I would send half of them down to the obituary section of the newsroom. Let them write about real doom and gloom if that is what they love writing about.

Until Kampman comes out himself and says he's unhappy I don't think we should make too big a deal out of it. Maybe he just doesn't want to answer all the reporters questions? You know they're going to corner him for a good 30 minutes when they get the chance.

True Blank, true. The so called "reporters" will FLOCK around the guy to get the "scoop". And if he gives them nothing, they will just make it up!
And of course, then they can all fall back on "Well, we ASKED him, and he wouldn't TELL us anything." As their excuse for making up crap.

So he doesn't talk and that means he is upset? Am I missing something?

He spent, six, seven years in the pro's master his trade and now the Packers are changing his trade in which he has made himself a Pro Bowl talent at that trade. And he's supposed to be jumping up and down about being being switched from a Pro Bowl DE to a OLB in a different scheme?

Give the damn guy a break. He has every right to NOT be thrilled with this change. The fact that he's showing up to work, busting his ass off like always at a voluntary camp should show us all something.

He might not like it, but he's giving it his damn all. What the hell else do we need from him?


edit, if I was Kampman, I wouldn't want to deal with the media either. If he says one thing wrong, the reporters will pounce the shit out of it. As Abe once said. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." I'm not saying he's a fool, but perhaps he is upset and would rather let people wonder than know for sure? I don't fault him for his silence one bit. I'm glad he's silent. I'd rather silence than a fake 'oh golly gosh im so excited to play OLB even though I'm a Pro Bowl DE!!'. Sorry, I'm one of those admires honesty and the truth.
