unhappy is a strong word. I can definitely, without a doubt, expect him to be uncomfortable, but unhappy is something totally different. Kampman went from being arguably the best player on the team to having to learn something brand new, at the bottom of the heap, possibly taking advice on the situation from some (gasp!) rookies. That's gotta be uncomfortable. Give it some time.

I agree. He's changing to OLB, he needs to play in space. He hasn't been asked to cover anyone since his early college day, or at least, not play them in space. Ofcourse there'll have to be some difficulties in his mind. I think they'll smoothen out soon enough though.

Some classy answers by Poppinga aswell, btw. I really like that.

I fully agree Bozz. Unhappy is a strong word in this case.

However... I would think that Kampy would RESPECT Greene, and listen to him. If Kevin is happy Kampy should at least see the light at the end of the tunnel.

If I was on the Packer "D" and Kevin Greene told me I would get more speed on the outside if I cut off my dick.

Well..... I would cut off my dick.

If.... Someone lent me a chain saw of course.

I would love to be a freaking editor. I would send half of them down to the obituary section of the newsroom. Let them write about real doom and gloom if that is what they love writing about.

"John Smith. age 52 BOUGHT THE FRIGGIN' FARM TODAY!
When questioned, he had NO reply! We take that to mean he is UNHAPPY with his present life, and is looking for a better offer from the afterlife.
His wife of 30 years, Mabel, was seen crying at the funeral home. We take this to mean that she is UNHAPPY with her no longer breathing husband, and may be looking for a replacement hubby. We expect that the groundhogs will be delivering Mr. Smith's mail, as he is now at room temperature. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER BREAKING NEWS!!!"

Until Kampman comes out himself and says he's unhappy I don't think we should make too big a deal out of it. Maybe he just doesn't want to answer all the reporters questions? You know they're going to corner him for a good 30 minutes when they get the chance.

True Blank, true. The so called "reporters" will FLOCK around the guy to get the "scoop". And if he gives them nothing, they will just make it up!
And of course, then they can all fall back on "Well, we ASKED him, and he wouldn't TELL us anything." As their excuse for making up crap.

So he doesn't talk and that means he is upset? Am I missing something?

He spent, six, seven years in the pro's master his trade and now the Packers are changing his trade in which he has made himself a Pro Bowl talent at that trade. And he's supposed to be jumping up and down about being being switched from a Pro Bowl DE to a OLB in a different scheme?

Give the damn guy a break. He has every right to NOT be thrilled with this change. The fact that he's showing up to work, busting his ass off like always at a voluntary camp should show us all something.

He might not like it, but he's giving it his damn all. What the hell else do we need from him?

edit, if I was Kampman, I wouldn't want to deal with the media either. If he says one thing wrong, the reporters will pounce the shit out of it. As Abe once said. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." I'm not saying he's a fool, but perhaps he is upset and would rather let people wonder than know for sure? I don't fault him for his silence one bit. I'm glad he's silent. I'd rather silence than a fake 'oh golly gosh im so excited to play OLB even though I'm a Pro Bowl DE!!'. Sorry, I'm one of those admires honesty and the truth.

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
    dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
    Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
