Kids today have things we could only DREAM of when i was young.

Almost EVERY kid has a cell phone.
A telephone you can carry around with you??? I never would have believed that when i was a kid.
Yesterday i and my wife stopped at McD's for a fish sandwich.
A teen girl that works there, came racing into the parking lot........dropped her cell phone (which she shouldn't have been yacking on while driving in the FIRST place) her car went airborn, just missing the big McDonald's sign, and landed on the cement support at the bottom of the sign.
Thank God she wasn't hurt, and didn't hurt anyone else.

You mean in the same way that you watched TV and listened to the radio while your 50 year old uncle told you about working on a farm and not being allowed to go to school or so. 😛 This just happens with any generation imo.

As for that girl, that's just stupidity, but I see alot of 40 year olds do the same. That's more just being dumb in most cases.

Oh, and that damn McDonalds. 5,50 Euros for 2 burgers and a small milkshake....

Anyway, back to the Iphone/Ipod. I have to admit that I was tempted to buy one, but I don't like being tied up to monthly payments. Internet, touchscreen etc. is pretty great, but I don't want to get my monthly expenses up for something like that. Those things are pretty damn awesome though....

It's not quite the same Rock.......I wasn't driving a car when my Uncle was telling me about the "old days!"
And yes, i agree. I'm NOT just picking on the kids driving with cell phones, i think it's one of the DUMBEST things you can do, and i also have seen ALL ages do that crap.
I only pointed out the young girl, because of what i saw happen at the time.
I have had adults pull out in front of me, lane change on the freeway......all while caring more about their damn conversation on the phone then paying attention to the road.
My post didn't mean young people only.....sorry if it came across that way....it wasn't meant that way.

Ha, no. It was only about the 'Dream when we where young' part. :p

I mean, you're right about that, but it's the same for every generation, I'm pretty sure that I'll be saying that in 40 years when I see some kid on his floating skateboard.

Yeah.....i know what you mean.
I sounded like some mean old geezer......."I remember back when.....'LOLOLOL!!!

Fact is, kids DON'T realize what they have today. Ipods, cell phones, home computers, video games with unreal graphics.
If you put them back into the 1960's when i was a young kid, they wouldn't know HOW we survived!!!
The old TV show "Star Trek" has Captain Kirk flipping open a comunicator, that looks surprisingly like a flip top cell phone of today! It was "science fiction" back then, reality now!
It just amazes me how much technology has changed in such a short time.

When I was a kid, I had some radioshack walkie talkies with a range of about 50 feet if you stayed away from the power lines, that was my cell phone. I also got the belt from my dad when I was a little shit, spanked with a paddle by my principal in grade school for being bad, bucked hay in the summer to pay for school clothes, there were also no school shootings or twelve year old girls wearing G-strings. It's a different time now and kids are far more disrespectful than ever and get away with a lot more shit these days, I blame society.

It's true..........society has told kids they have lots of "rights!"
They forget to teach that they also have "responsibilities" and to treat others with the same respect they THINK they "deserve."

dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
