Is the sole reason we are losing is the struggling defense. No. But the struggling offense got a lead late in the game, the defense needs to put that game away. Football is never just one thing, but with a young, inconsistent offense, when they do succeed you need to capitalize and hold that.

Yes, there are defensive screw-ups, but as Beast points out, relative to the offense, they have had relative few and have had much better execution that the offense. (This coming from the Joe Barry detractor) The offense can't lay an egg for 1/2 of the game and not expect repercussions.

If we were to micro analyze the offense to the same level you did on this play, the number of screw-ups and bad schemes and deployments would be much worse.

Go Packers!!!!

Bitch at the defensive coordinator if he doesn't try anything different....

Bitch at the the defensive coordinator if he does do anything different.

Just bitch at the defensive even if it's clearly better than the offense and special teams...

It's always the defense fault!

The defense gets torched whenever it plays a half decent offense. The defense isn't the only problem...it seems the problems are absolutely everywhere lol. The packers suck period. I can't think of a bright spot right now.

I'm just pointing out the truth that always blame the defensive, don't stop not, or I might become incorrect.

Defense, Bakhtiari and former players is also killing our cap right now. They're totally at fault. Don't fire just Joe Barry, fire every defensive coach and player! Get them off the books and let's be an expansion defense!

I rest my case about MLF and his offense. No excuses. He is done and its time to move on. Cant even beat the lowly Broncos and the Packers have scored the lowest points in the first half of games since the 1980s.

Anyone else still need to use young and injury excuse?

This has been an issue for a couple of years now as i stated before.

His press conferences are the same lost babble every week. Reminds of the Mike McCarthy pressers when we would get blown out against an elite team except Mike McCarthy knew how to best crappy teams while we lose to them under MLF

Earlier in the game, our D staff decided this was the best they could trot out there on defense with a heavy set on offense shifted to one side. The one place where we have size and numbers is defensive line, when you set your players up to fail, they feed off that. For someone like Rodgers last year, it is disheartening to know that even when you succeed, the coaches will fail you. Ask a player, see how hard they are willing to fight when your coaches do this shit over and over.

Let Mike Whale tell you as well.

Rudy Ford has zero chance of holding up here. The whole defense and offense knows it.. it is this shit that cannot happen if you are a NFL coordinator.

Think that shit doesn't affect a team. It certainly does.

In today's offensive dominating era, I think its safe to say the defense has done more than enough to hold its end up while the offense looks like some throw back 1970's crap.

the defense is allowing only 21 points on avg in 6 games(21.3 to be exact). The offense is scoring 21 points on avg in 6 games(21.6 to be exact).

Now please tell me again how the defense is at fault? This is a badddddd offense and it shows. To be averaging the same that your defense allows is horrendous.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
