Who could have predicted Rodgers resurrecting his career in 2020?

Well, Rodgers has improved in that he refused to throw a check down in that system, to the point Seahawks didn't even to look like they were going to attempt to cover a RB unless that RB first got 5-7 yards down the field.
But generally speaking, I think it's more getting a better scheme and having the right personnel for the scheme you are running.
Also, I've been a huge fan of the wide zone scheme and Kyle Shanahan for a long time now, and remember saying if we get rid of Mike McCarthy we should get Kyle Shanahan, I believe that was when Shannon was with the Browns.
But this scheme seems to put more lateral threats on the defense, which makes it harder for the DL to get a vertical jump... and with the right play calling, makes the RB a bigger priority to take pressure off the QB, and let's the OL run block more (which generally speaking, they enjoy hitting the DL in run blocking more than getting hit in pass blocking), and helps the OL by having a better run to pass ratio, making it harder for the defense to guess what is coming.
