Green Bay has the #22 pick overall Value 780
#28 Value 680
#53 Value 370
#59 Value 310

Would you package any of them to move up in the draft?

#7 value is 1500.

PFF board:
7. Evan Neal OT Alabama
8. Trent McDuffie CB Washington
9. Ahmad Gardner CB Cincinnati
10. George Karlaftis EDGE Purdue
11. Drake London WR USC
12. Garrett Wilson WR OSU

We don't need another CB at this time. A 1st and a 2nd will get you up to about #13. I don't see everyone of the players gone at 13.
There are some decent players lower in the draft too. Getting 4 in the first two rounds will be awesome. But I am not opposed to landing an elite top 10 guy.

I'd package one of my 1st rounders with 4th round compensatory pick to get into the top 10-15 and take the best available player per my scouting.

I might trade up, but not that far, actually this draft is unusual and seems deep with mid-1st round talents ...

So maybe trade up the #28 pick to get in the early 20s if there is someone specific you want...

Otherwise I'd be using later picks to move higher in the 2nd trying to get some of players that maybe wouldn't normally drop out of the late 1st and early 2nd but dropped a bit further this year.

There are so many freaking edge rushers, some of them will have to drop.

But in the 1st round (since that's what you were asking about), there are some dominant lineman, I might target if the team loved their for into the scheme.

Georgia certainly has a couple of defensive linemen, three that might be going first round.

George Karlaftis has a ton of snaps under his belt, he doesn't come off the field basically and still plays at a high level even with a high snap count.

North Carolina State has an extremely powerful OT, which might be a great LG or RT (wherever you aren't putting Jenkins).

There would have to be someone I REALLY wanted in order to even consider trading up.
2 first round picks is something they haven't had for awhile.

I have no problem keeping the 4 picks and loading up with solid players. But if there is that one stud still left on the board at 8-12 would it be worth it to only get 3 players in the first two rounds instead of 4?

As Beast points out there are a few linemen both offense and defensive that are interesting. Elite players who step up in key situations are worth a lot more than 2 very good players. Think about how many times Reggie White came blasting in and sacked the QB late in the 4th quarter to seal a game. He didn't do it every week but when it mattered most, he was there. In turn, Clay Matthews, who was a solid player was a step or two late to get to the QB and often the throw was completed for a big gain.

I don't know enough about any college player to say they need to go get him at 10 or 12 or whatever. Again, what I have read is the draft is deep with good and very good players but it is short on elite talent.

On April 28th be sure to tune in early. Green Bay may see someone they like sitting there and they may make a move.

The only one I would trade up for is London, the USC wide receiver. Otherwise I would see what’s there and take the best wide receiver available… of course subject to not signing some free-agent wide receivers.

Plus there is the QB factor. Teams have shown a willingness to take a QB earlier than their value. That means someone is going to fall. Other teams will swoon over the CBs (I hope so.) and thus push prospects down.

Matt Ryan looks like to be a Colt before end of tomorrow -- per rumors.

Falcons get
Packers 28th overall (660)
QB Jordan Love

Packers get
Falcons 8th overall (1,400)

Based on DrafTek  valuation, this is saying Jordan Love is basically worth 24th overall pick. (Love was drafted 26th overall in 2020)

That being said, Packers probably have to trade the 22nd overall (780) pick instead of 28th. That would then value Love at 30th overall value.
