I didn't think his quote was complaining. Florio just won't hide his Vikings fan hood at all.

Some think the Packers didn't handle the firing of coach Mike McCarthy well. Some include Mike McCarthy. In an interview with ESPN.com that will debut tomorrow, McCarthy says of his firing, "It couldn’t have been handled any worse.' The teaser tweet from Rob Demovsky adds that McCarthy also will address his relationship with quarterback Aaron [more]

I don't believe that dredging up the past like this is of any benefit. It is a no win story. I never could understand the fascination people have for going through other peoples garbage. Stirring up a story like this only serves to relive a part of history that should be left behind.

Florio, such a wise and noble sage. Every utterance of his is like raindrops of gold.

In other words, what should Mike say, "Man, I was so tired of that job. It was such a grind. I was so glad when they gave me a paid vacation in the middle of the season." "It sure helped with my self esteem issues."

Ignoring history does no good.
To hear from the SOURCE is good. It doesn’t allow people with an agenda to make up stuff and put it out as “truth”.
Now we know the FACTS of how Mike felt.
How is THAT bad???
It’s McCarthy’s true feelings on how it happened.

I really don't give a damn what he says.

If any of us, or any of the people who worked for me, performed at a level that was well below expectations or needs, a termination would occur.

His work product the last few years was inferior. And I am not talking just wins and losses. I am talking about personnel decisions (and yes he had a hand in them), player development, or lack thereof, coaching staff decisions, and in game decisions ...case closed.

Accountability has finally come to Lombardi Avenue, and I for one am happy about it.

True, KRK.
I got fired from a job once. The boss told me at the beginning of the work day that she wanted to see me at the end of the day. NO eye contact. So I asked “am I getting fired?” She said “I don’t like that word” so I asked “what word do you like?” She said “terminated”. So I asked “what difference does it make? They both mean I’m fired!” So I walked out right then.
So McCarthy didn’t like the straight forward approach by the Packers. Either way, the result was the same. You’re no longer employed here.

And let’s face it, it’s a “what have you done for me lately” world today.

To bad "accountability " doesn't include The CEO.

The Florio "clickbait " tease sure worked.
Glad I waited for the whole article to be posted before commenting.

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
