I dunno, but I really think you need to hug it out find happy thoughts to think about.

Lions fans happy to be 4-4? Why would that be? They're a losing franchise. To them this is fantastic. In Green Bay we have 13 Titles. In Green Bay 4-4 is a joke and not winning it all is a disappointment for those who understand the legacy of this once proud franchise.

It's a point that bears repeating and pondering... What other org would do less with 12? If he went anywhere else they'd be out of their minds and would be going all out to win. Not this moribund stale regime.

If we keep saying we need to many pieces we will never go for it.

We need to create Pass rush and we need help at CB. Add a FA DE/DT that can pass rush and Top CB and we make the defense drastically better. If Rodgers, Cobb, Matthews, Nelson all work their contracts we have the ability to bring in some good FA, without mortgaging the future. Making our "All In" window, a 2-3 year opening.

If we wait another year or two, draft a few and try to develop, in the mean time other players will age and need to be replaced. The odds of the draft falling where the best player when we pick being at the positions where we need to improve the most isn't very good. Take Money and bring in GOOD FA at the positions we need so They can Draft the Best Player, not just the best player at a position of need. All we are not improving by just drafting and develop.

Proper management is to try to get your team UP so it rises above others not wait for others to be down while you remain the same so you can sneak one. That is Ted Thompson in a nutshell.

There is no way in this world things will ever change with him at this point. He has to be ousted and the HC has to go with him.

Please, don't hate the messenger so much you ignore the right message. Don't go down with the ship...Packers way of thinking has been flawed from the outset. In the beginning as we were BUILDING with Rodgers and brought in new passion in the coaching we won something, although, it was frighteningly close to not happening, but that was the right mindset. Trade up for players you love and can make a difference. Add players like Woodson whom we were lucky nobody wanted and he had no other options. We got LUCKY back then. A very very fortuitous set of circumstances. The Packer way...let's rely on luck. Let's get a guy in here who wants to kick a$$ and dominate this league instead of one who plays safe liking the guys he's got. My god he's wasted so many years here.

What's changed? Why now for you? Do you think you should've taken this more seriously years ago? Would love to hear your self assessment on how your thoughts have evolved over the years.

Honestly, I know you can't stand me but I've been right all these years while getting flamed on this forum for years. Actually, ANY forum I ever went to soundly rejected the truth. Nobody ever wanted to listen. Why now? The thinking I had back then was right years ago. It's still right and will always be right.

You recently posted Mike McCarthy should be fired? Emotional reaction or actual measured well thought out offering?

This fanbase needs to riot. It starts small. Everyone needs to start opening their eyes to this ruse and poisoning done to it by this current regime.

Funny , my nephew is a huge Lion fan.
After the game last night he posted on FB:

"Woohoo Lions win! We're 4-4 and back in the race for The North title!"

I guess it's all how you look at things.

There was a difference between me and the vast majority of this forum. You don't think I should find nothing in the forum coming around to viewpoints I was blasted for year after year? Really? This forum can't wait to rip me for any little thing. Do you call that out? No, because you agree with it. You don't agree with this but you were never on my side of thinking here. I was blasted for my thoughts on the Bears win from 2015. People still love hammering me for things they just never understood. Now, they're starting to get it and I should enjoy it. Has anyone ever said...hey, uffda, you know, you were right on about that stuff I used to criticize you for? Not a single soul has done so nor will they. I always defer to people when it's appropriate. IF someone posts something in shout I don't run to the forum trying to be first to post about it. I say this comes from Kevin from the shout box. I applaud when someone makes a good point like you did with Ruvell. I applaud when you posted about Tolzien vs. Hundley. This should have never been me against the forum but that's how it's been for years and we all realize that I would hope. Dakota was the only one who ever defended me. The rest laughed, mocked and scorned.

You know I appreciate you and this forum. This is a moment for me to watch with smiles on my face. People are finally seeing what I've been screaming about for years. It's like finally being heard after so many years of shunning. You don't think I enjoy that? I hate that the Packers suck now but am happy to see people getting it now. That isn't arrogant. It's truth. What else should it be called?

buckeyepackfan (20h) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (20h) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

packerfanoutwest (21h) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (21h) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (21h) : I think this games over

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.

Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no

wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
