After 3 preseason games, I can reasonably state that Vince Biegel and or Montravius Adams better be one heckuva player or we aren't getting much impact this season from this draft class.

King is nowhere near ready to make a difference. Josh Jones is like a (mis) guided missile out there. Adams and Biegel are hurt. Yancey looks to have long range potential but not much for this year...the same with Dupre.

One of our RB's is going to get cut.

That leaves Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones and Devante Mays. My assumption is Williams and Jones stick. Williams is a steady Eddie type so I don't see him having much impact. Not sure Don Jackson or John Crockett would be that less impactful. That leaves Aaron Jones who I think is the most likely to give us something of impact status but not until later in the season because we'll have to suffer Williams for awhile to get to the better back.

King should be able to give us impact relative to last season, but not the type of impact we need.

Mont and Vince, it's likely up to you but we haven't had a chance to see what you have.

As of right now, it looks bleak to get much impact out of this class for this season.

Based on what has been seen Aaron Jones is the only hope I have to get anything at all.

Okay, that’s it! You’re banned from negative speech unless you first compare the situation to NE’s 😂.

Tell me how NE’s rookies will do this year? BTW, their 2nd rounder [Traded for Ealy] was just cut! If Ted traded a second for a player who was cut a few months later; you’d be going so ape shit you’d be catatonic.

You were railing on this same quackery nonsense claptrap last year. And who ended up got more out of their rookies last year, NE or GB? Hint: It was GB and NE won the SB!

In last 3 years [per Football reference] GB has 8 guys starting 14 seasons; New England had 4 guys for 6 and 3 of those guys battled for 1 OL position year after year and 2 of those guys are gone. GB still has all 8 of their guys.

Last year we were the best team the last half of season after Mark Sanchez Fuctler Doppleganger was replaced by Aaron Rodgers at QB, and this team was easily good enough to win SB. How many of these 2017 rookies were on that team? Hint: none.

You need to learn how to grade rookies; you look at the best they can do, not the worst.

All players do good and bad things and its the ratio of good to bad plays that separates the all pros from the JAGs. The difference between a rookie and seasoned vet is they become more consistent, that is their ratio of good to bad plays increases over time. If they don’t improve this ratio fast enough they get cut. To expect massive increases in consistency in a few weeks is an absurd expectation.

Relax. It's just the truth. I'm referring to what we're getting from this class this year only. It really looks like very little. Sure. We'll get snaps out of King and Williams but how much impact will those have? Neither looks like any type of game changer. Just the truth. Maybe, down the road but not this season which is disappointing.

As for NE, all they did is give up 8 spots in the draft for Ealy. Traded a 2nd for a 3rd that was 8 picks later. This is a lot different than making it sound like they gave up a 2nd rounder.

It's just disappointing year after year getting no first year impact from the draft. I watched Reuben Foster tear it up for SF last night. That guy can play. We could've really used him but we're stuck with Kevin King who was drafted because Randall and Rollins suck and Hayward was let go. A affects B and B affects C.

I scoffed when you posted Davante predictions for Year 2. 80 plus catches and over 1000 yards. It was not about Janis at all. You were way off. Nobody throws out more ridiculous and wrong statements than you nerd. BTW, Janis has posted a better career game than Davante and he didn't even start the playoff game at Arizona. 7-145-2 is better than any Adams stat line. Davante had a 156 0 td game when Tennessee was coasting but he started that game.

You made wrong statements on Mays and Antonio Freeman's speed, in chat, and recently said Jordy should be moved to TE and you're making allegations against me? Plus, for yet another year you rail on MM not liking backs that are too fast for him? What?

Let's stay on topic. Who is giving impact for us this year from this class?

First of all, uffda lights a fire under this forum, which I believe has tremendous value. Sure the posts get super long, but I have a choice not to read them whole, which I exercise on the daily.

That being said, I don't see immediate impact from any draft pick, but I'm not super bummed about it either. I'm also fairly confident that King has progressed every week and will continue to do so. My eyes are on him. Overall, I'm looking more at the 2nd and 3rd year players to take a jump and start making a difference.

Bulaga...Bad ['cause he's not playing LT]; GB Rookies are game not game changers...what's next: Daniels sucks at CB, so he's a failed draft pick?

Don't be a little equivocation bitch evader. FOCUS ON MY ARGUMENT or don't respond; these are you're 2 moral choices.

Rookies can only be difference makers if they play. Strong teams typically draft late and dont have alot of weak positions. Dix played as a rookie ONLY because we didn't have 2 strong safeties. If Collins and Burnett were the safeties and stayed healthy, how much would Dix contributed?

Drafting late Ted cant pick whomever he wants. He must take the best player that other 30sih teams have left behind. If the stars align, sometimes that 30ish player fits a positional need; like Dix. And then Dix must still learn the schemes well enough to be able to play.

You have so much hate clouding your judgment to preserve your agenda you've even refuted one of your core expressed beliefs [that speed is important]. Speed is the single thing that prevents ALL rookies from "making a difference". If a guy with 4.39 speed, has to pause before acting or takes a false step because he has to think about his role in the scheme instead of simply reacting turns him into a 4.6-5.0 speed guy.

You dare to say "truth?" Rookies on good teams "making a difference" is the stark exception and so far from being a rule, it ridiculous.

YOU NEED PERSPECTIVE. Is a RB who runs the ball 300 times for 30 yards any good? He's a HOFer if all other RBs average negative yards. Likewise if he runs for 2000 yards on 300 carries ; he sucks if all other RBs get 4000 yards.

I only hate what holds this team back from winning the SB. That's all.

We could've had Reuben Foster but we NEEDED a CB so we didn't take the best player. Could've had Dez who was the better player and took Bulaga.

The last time we won the SB we hit on Matthews and Raji and had Woodson and Pickett from FA plus Sam Shields playing out of his mind as a UDFA.

Right now, I don't see Clay and BJ from this class for this year nor do I see Woodson. I do see Marty B., but he's not enough. Where's the impact on D coming from this year? I like KC and DL. That helps the front 7 but OLB and ILB look no better and CB looks very very shaky even with two 1st rounders and a 2nd playing for us and a FA who was a former 4th rounder.

Where is the impact coming from in this class this year? When you eschew FA as regularly as we do you better find something in the draft. The mileage we've gotten off the gift of 12 to carry this mess is getting quite old. How many years and high picks does it take to fix this?

We're supposed to wait 3 years to get impact from this class? Rodgers will be 36...Clay will be gone, Jordy will be a shell, and we'll have to count on impact from more rookies? Cycle is endless. Count on Aaron Rodgers, he'll get us to the playoffs.

I think the RBs will contriute righht away, to whatever degree. WRs always take a hear or two. King missed OTAs due to his school, Montravius broke his foot. Beigel too.
