What happened to the other 4 pages of this thread? Packers fans should be pissed about how our season ended last year, not giving Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson a pass. But then Packers fans are used to that sort of behavior, with all the irresponsible play of #4. As bad as that 4th and 26 playoff game was, that Seattle game was exponentially worse. Elite quarterbacks tend to make coaches and GM's appear a lot better than they really are.

As far as giving MM a pass, what were the majority of the errors that blew it for the Packers in Seattle? Read Barfarn's post above - a great summary.

MM even stepped down from PC duties so he could have a better grasp on game management duties, so changes were made to address concerns you're raising, even though I side with it being a huge "self shit" on the player's part and an unnecessary move by MM.

My problem with McCarthey's play calling is that he doesn't know how to step on a neck and put a game away. He's also becomes too predictable. When dumbasses that post in forums like these know what play is about to be run on 3rd and short, we have a problem.

This is not just about game management, although that is definitely part of it. It is about overall team management. Players respect McCarthy. He wanted to be more involved with all facets of this team especially special teams. Coach is saying accountability starts and ends with me. That is why I believe this move was done. And of course, he'll be a huge part of putting together the offensive game plan. It is then up to Clements to take it from there.

how 'bout a life adversity simile:

NO! ya take it like a big big guy! You keep your head and evaluate with calmness and scholarship. Go ahead shoot them, YOU end up in prison. You evaluate if you should stay married, live in the neighborhood, what's bets for the kids. Of course the best friend, coincidentally his name is Bostic Slow-cum, has gotta go...LOL

I didn't see MM or Ted Thompson drop one a pass, cause a penalty or miss a tackle. MM/Capers put together one of the greatest coaching jobs ever to prepare that team to play. I thought if we played Seattle 10 times, we'd win 2 maybe 3; Clearly, it was the other way around.

Sounds like you're giving AR a pass. The guy is burning up 1/6 to 1/7 of the cap and had a Pass rating of 55 for game and well under that when the Burnett intercepted to seal the game. This team is so good that it was ahead 19-7 at 56 minutes over the defending SB champs on the road with Geno Smith [78 Pass Rating on season] at QB having a bad day. Oh, but if Geno was the QB, Ted Thompson would have had 20M to keep/sign more players.

So do we cut Rodgers? if you're going scorched earth Rodgers must be the second to go [after Bostic Slow-cum]!!!!

I thought this topic was about the 2015 Green Bay Packers and that the sky was not falling? Seems simple enough to me.

Red zone issues...yup, never heard of'em.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

This is 100% my own speculation, I acknowledge I could be foolish for thinking/suggesting this, but I feel the Packers will find ways to use Hundley's mobility in 2 points or RZ this year, but it'd be silly to show that hand in a preseason game.
