Regardless of whether global warming is real, these greenhouses gasses do keep warmth in our athmosphere that would normally be vented out. I'm not a scientist or a psychic, so I don't know the real threat to the earth or how real global warming is, but I tend to believe that this worldwide effort and all of these scientific studies aren't for naught. With CO2 going over 400ppm quite a while ago, cutting down on emissions would seem like a good way to go, anyway, even if this theory would be false.
Next to that, human impact, from a study I read, was an extra 0,2 degrees celsius on top of the regular cycle. That 0,2 we managed to add in a relatively small timeframe in human history, with emissions still increasing, could become rather big in the future.
Lastly, I'm leaning a certain way, but I'm not completely convinced, either. I haven't looked into it enough to be. The reasoning with it still snowing and being cold in the winter, though, is absolutely ridiculous.
