All politics aside, I read about this Polar Vortex thing, and it's something I don't think has ever happened in my long lifetime. There was/is a typhoon, of all things - Typhoon Nuri, which basically glanced off of or curved away from the coast of Asia, and turned east. It is made landfall with Gale force winds in the panhandle area of Alaska, then turned south through Canada and will affect most of the U.S. with cold temperatures. I've heard of hurricanes and Atlantic tropical storms turning east and affecting Europe, but never a Pacific one like this.
I bragged earlier about how nice and warm it is here in Texas, and it is GREAT tennis weather here today, but the Tuesday forecast here is high temperature of 63 Monday midnight, and then dropping temperature all day. Thursday through Monday we aren't supposed to get out of the 40s. I can't wait for Indian Summer hahahaha.
