The final snow total reported on the news last night was 42 inches.
That pretty much put an end to deer season before it even started.

As for "polar vortexes" (or is it "vortices"?), no, nobody has seen them all their life. This particular thing - a typhoon in the Pacific that strays toward Alaska and then goes south, that hasn't happened in at least a half century.

As for the idiocy of Global Warming, the dirty little secret the environmentalist wackos won't tell you is that the total mass of ice in Greenland is INCREASING, not decreasing. And the other thing about that, why do you think they call it GREENland? Because in the time when Europeans first discovered it, it was a helluva lot warmer than now - to the extent that the southern area was actually green. And that, of course, was at a time when there was no factory pollution, ad I assume a lot less cow farts and whatever else the wackos fantasize causes their bogus problem, Global Warming. It's really all about dragging down western and capitalist civilization - taking away our great comfortable life.

Tex, don't bother trying to muddy up the waters with useless FACTS.
You will just be labeled a "right wing wacko" for DARING to try to do that.
Don't worry....in the 1970's when I DARED to question the teachers about what they were using as the lefty "scare of the day", which was how the next ice age was gonna freeze us all, I was called a nut case even back then.
If you don't agree with everything the leftists say, you are just an idiot in their eyes.
You can't reason with some people.
They know EVERYTHING and you know NOTHING.

Don't worry, outside of this forum, WE are the solid majority - what I call Good Normal Americans. And I'm not so sure that there isn't a decent silent majority even in here, but they just don't like talking politics.

You probably saw at some point when Dennis Miller walked into the Tonight Show with a copy of that 70s era Time Magazine that had global cooling/new ice age on the cover. It's probably in YouTube.

Texas, you're the worst conspiracy theorist in this forum. Next from you will be the liberals crucified Jesus. For the love of God, you listen to the billionaires bending you over before you listen to actual scientists. You guys wouldn't know facts if they came and kicked you in the nutz. It's really cold right now so the earth heating up can't be happening. Oyvey!

What I know is that when I was a kid we had huge snow piles to play in every year. Now, we get a winter like that about every four years. The climate where I live has changed. You dipshits can split hairs, but something not good is happening to the Earth.

A 5 or 10 or even 50 year period is too short of a time to make concrete absolute statements. I am not advocating sitting back and doing nothing but change for change's sake doesn't make sense either. The US has already done a lot to curb its fossil fuel appetite. We will continue to wean off of it over a period of years.

Some years have worse winters, some have better. Some years I never run my AC, others it is on for a month straight. The earths temp has risen less than 2 degrees over a couple hundred year span as part of a cycle that spans thousands of years.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
