Watching Scott Walker give his victory speech, not big into politics anymore, but I think i just saw The next President of These United States.

Only time will tell, but IMHO, Governors always make the best Presidents, and this guy is impressive.

HALLELUJAH! The People have spoken, and the People have won!

Yeah, it obviously is about individuals, but it also is about parties, and in particular, it is about the ideas pushed by the two parties. Purely and simply, what the Democrats stand for has been roundly rejected pretty much nation-wide. I REJECT the notion that there are not good people and good ideas up for votes in elections.

As Buckeye said, Scott Walker's speech was impressive. His own governor, Kasich in Ohio is pretty impressive too - in both cases, MORE for what they have done while in office than for what they say. Many of the commentators said the vote tonight was a reflection of disgust with incumbents; Well, all of the Senate incumbents that got beat had something in common - they were Democrats!

Who will the Republicans put up in 2016? I don't know; That's what campaigns and the primaries are for. But in keeping with the subject of the thread, ANY of the many Republicans available would individually be a lot more competent and in tune with what Americans want than Hilary or any of the Dems.

For those who didn't vote for me I hope to earn your respect over the next four years. People in the state want me to be for something and not against something.

Scott Walker wrote:

I dislike political ads immensely and solely because they are always aimed at knocking the opponent down, rather than telling us why we should vote for them and what they have planned for us. I don't want to hear why I shouldn't vote for someone, I wanna hear why I should vote for someone. One of the last Walker ads I seen did exactly that. He acknowledged that he fell short on his 250k job pledge, but said he would continue that effort among other things. And like Walker said, make it possible for everyone who WANTS A JOB, able to GET A JOB. That's the key right there. Many who do not have a job, simply do not want a job, they just want the paycheck.

As for your last line, why would somebody want a job - work/eeeww - if he could get a paycheck for doing nothing hahahaha? Work is a four letter word.

Why would someone want a job? Are you seriously asking this? Why would someone want to support their family and themselves? What a preposterous and offensive question to even pose. Why the hell would anyone want handouts? Why would anyone want everything given to them? Where is the respect, the appreciation, the gratitude from having everything given to you?

Why would anyone want to live off others? The mere thought that people actually want this disgusts an infuriates me. Get the hell off your asses and work for a living, earn your way through life and stop complaining about what wasn't given to you and start earning it.

Negativity works on mindless fools, you got that right. That's why they do it. Those fools' votes count too, and there are a helluva lot of them. How else would assholes like Obama get elected?

I'm typing this on my wife's tablet, and it's so neat how I type a letter or two, and it anticipates the whole word. After I typed "asshole like" and the letter O, it went straight to Obama - smart tablet hahaha.

I think that all the republicans winning shows just how fed up the nation is with Obama and the whole Democratic Party.
The Dems have been in control for a long time, always saying how much they care for "the poor" and how the EVIL republicans HATE poor people. Yet in all the years the democrats have been in power, have things improved for poor people? The answer is NO. For all their talk, they haven't helped anyone but themselves.
