As a newer member to this forum, I have tried to actively stimulate the forum. Yes I have opinions , and I express them in my post. I would not call my opinions an agenda and had I hijacked this forum I'd have flown it to Las Vegas.
If one does not agree with a post/posts them express your argument in clearly written rebuttal post . Personally attacking another because you can't argue your point is just 6th grade logic. [cheers]

I had a minor incident over the weekend that has left my hand in a rather painful state and it makes it quite painful to code (type). The delay on the aforementioned strategy lies solely on my shoulders right now.

It will be done.

It will be enforced.

It will be glorious! (secretly, I kinda can't wait to start suspending people 😰 )

AGAIN - nobody in that thread attacked anybody. Apparently, now we get slapped down by authority if the mood is off a little bit. "Can't wait to start suspending people" - wow is that pathetic!

Real men can admit when they fuck up! Arrogance doesn't rule them.

Been nice knowing all of you! I'll take the first suspension in the glorius ideology of standing up for yourself and for people that don't have any backbone to do it for themselves.

I think that this forum was a great place to share opinions in the past. Sharing involves listening to other people's opinions as well as voicing your own. That atmosphere has dissolved in the last 6-12 months.

Recently this forum has become less about listening and more about defending your beliefs. There is considerably fewer intelligent discussions and more hate filled tirades. A number of the posters I looked forward to reading have taken sabbaticals. Several of the newer posters have taken to hijacking numerous threads to spread their agenda.

It's evolution. In previous years, I would visit this site every day during the season. This year, I can go several days without visiting. After the last few weeks, I would guess that by next year I will have deleted Packershome from my computer. Just too much anger and hatred for a hobby that I want to enjoy.

Ha! This kind of thing always makes me smile. Who in their right mind would leave because someone doesn't like their opinion or fan it, if you will?

Suspensions? I have little doubt who is going to be among the first to go. The litmus test will be if someone feels they've been steered from the site? That could be because someone has their feelings hurt because they don't feel validated because they're challenged on their opinion so the challenger goes bye bye so weak minded people can post drivel in peace and feel good about themselves?

It is not my board and it is and will be run in a manner not my own. I just think it's ridiculous to encourage people to stay who are afraid to stand on their own two feet regarding an opinion on a game watched on a television.

Ted Thompson is the devil to you and is a hero to someone else...the person who loves Ted Thompson is going to have their feelings hurt because someone is offering an opposite view and decide they just don't want to hear it? The guy who is miffed by the opposite opinion but stays strong and is unaffected by what anyone says and keeps coming here...he'll be the banished one? Makes sense.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

uffda we are not going to suspend members simply because people have a disagreement of opinion. People will be suspended if they fail to treat others with the respect they deserve. If both people treat each other poorly both will get sent to the time out corner like a 3 year old.

It is not an onerous burden to ask and expect people to treat each other with respect.

If you do so you can complain about Uncle Teddy all you want.

As has been said numerous times. We want you to come hard with your points, come diligent with your opinions, come strong with your debate and avoid reaching the level of personal attacks.

This concept is NOT that difficult. If just the few of you pull your head out of your asses you'd realize your PRIVILEGE of voicing your opinion about a SUBJECT is not infringed.
