Troy,

It was Kevin who you disrespected not me. All he asked was

you jumped on him instead of asking what he meant or attempting to consider how it affects him when you said:

That is not grievous and I didn't treat it as such. My reply was for you to try and see it from Kevin's perspective not from your own. (using different words)

It must be terribly inconvenient for you to always be right and have to deal with lessor people who can not understand your brilliance. It is a pity that no one who has a different point of view can be considered to be correct otherwise you will feel like a weaker man.

There has been plenty of disagreements on the Packer personnel and organization on this site but that doesn't mean the people who disagree MUST resort to criticizing the other person.

As for BS authority- where have I ever used any authority, actual or perceived, over you or anyone else? It is all in your own mind. In the past few weeks all I have said or done is to agree with the man who is trying to have a civil and enjoyable board by asking people to respect his wishes. If that upsets you or somehow seems to be domineering or authoritative it is all in your own mind. No one has said there can be no disagreements. No one has said it has to be boring.

Since you apparently don't like people telling you what to do you seem to be compelled to jumping clear past what most people would deem to be a responsible response to extremes like Nazis and Mary Poppins. (By which I assume you are referring the Disney version of Mary not the original Poppins that Pamela Lyndon Travers created.) There is a whole lot of room between Disney Mary and Nazi Germany. Kevin is asking you to reside in there. He is not asking a lot but it is hard for some people to do what anyone asks them to do. It is sad when people think so little of him that they chaff when he makes the request.

I skimmed through a few posts and detected some tension. The warning was preemptive with the goal to remind folks to focus on the subject at hand, not one another specifically. It wasn't that difficult to grasp that concept. If you pay attention to Packers discussion about Ted Thompson, things tend to get out of hand quickly.

Troy, I am sorry you have this blind hatred for any sort of authority, but you should know well enough that my intentions for what I feel is best for this website. The sooner you get that, the sooner you'll realize it has nothing to do with suppressing your opinion or freedom to express it.

Taking a word from our favorite QB.... R-E-L-A-X and if you're about to be a douche "Don't do it".

Great observation and diplomatic point Kevin.

BY THE WAY.. Is it just me? But I find many people who suffer from unwanted hair growth from their ears and other orifices have this natural ability to calm people, and negotiate peace. For example.... People like Kevin (Zero), and Henry Kissinger.

Weird. I know. But true.

Recently this forum has become less about listening and more about defending your beliefs. There is considerably fewer intelligent discussions and more hate filled tirades. A number of the posters I looked forward to reading have taken sabbaticals. Several of the newer posters have taken to hijacking numerous threads to spread their agenda.

It's evolution. In previous years, I would visit this site every day during the season. This year, I can go several days without visiting. After the last few weeks, I would guess that by next year I will have deleted Packershome from my computer. Just too much anger and hatred for a hobby that I want to enjoy.

Those whom are making PackersHome less friendly will be suspended under the new strategy once implemented. We hope you and others stick around because with out you, PackersHome is just a beautifully designed awesome spot on the interGoogle with no action.

Also, any member can REPORT a post that they feel steers them away from visiting the site. We very much appreciate that as we cannot read every single post and sometimes will indeed miss it.

Wow guys, really ! We come here to read post, have discussions, debate the arguments in an environment that should be no different than entering a high class social club. Your enemy may be sitting right across from you at the gaming table, and the quips may be colorful and sometimes sharp, but never do members personally attack one another. I came to this forum to leave a mod bully behind. If this forum had a bully, I'd see it quicker than most. Furthermore, this forum allows more freedom of latitude than most other sites. So no, the grass is not greener just over the hill.

1. Everyone take a cold shower and cool down.
2. Eat a bowl of ice cream if the shower does not work.
3. Show some class and move on. [cheers]

NOW, BACK TO THE šŸ‡¹šŸ‡¹ [neener] .
