NOBODY is picking the Packers in this game, which is going to place all the pressure on the 9ers. The more I think about it, the better I like our chances. The Packers can play very loose, and if we can get by the 9ers, we just might have a chance. Fuck, I'm starting to sound like Buckeye.

Gonna have to come up with some run D, but I like our chances. We get more ToP in week 1, we win easily. I also feel some INTs coming.

Kaepernick's gonna shit himself. MARK IT DOWN!

Can anyone explain to me what has happened to our run defense over the course of the season? The line was making so many plays earlier on in the year. In fact, we held Frank Gore to 2.1 ypc in Week 1 this season. I guess I just don't understand.

Either way, I think we have a shot, and I'm actually gonna make a prediction on this one:

Pack 30
Niners 27

Gutsy, I know.

After the way this season has panned out thus far, absolutely NOTHING can surprise me.

I wouldn't be surprised if we blow them out, I wouldn't be surprised if we get blown out, or if it's a close one. Top to bottom, they are the more talented team, the hotter team BUT

Truly,

Anything can happen.

One thing is for certain, a victory over the 9'ers without any further injuries would do this team the world of good.

Go Pack, get the ball rolling.

Our D got some stops against the Bears. Played just barely well enough to win. Be nice to start getting some turnovers. I kind of feel some INTs ready to come on.

I think Kaepernick's gonna press.

Also, the Packers defense matches up very well against the Bears offense and especially Jay Cutler, so I wouldn't use that comparison for anything useful.

Also, the 49'er's defense is much, much better than the Bears defense, which will even things out considerably, as well.

Week 1 Safeties
FS 43 M.Jennings
SS 22 J.McMillian

Wild Card Safeties
FS 28 S. Richardson
SS 42 M. Burnett

Okay, Richardson probably won't start, but the point is ... I think the Safeties for the Packers will be gooder Wild Card weekend vs Week 1.
