Yeah the last game was the one that mattered. I hate seeing capers quote his rankings all the time. I dont care if they were ranked first if they get utterly destroyed and embarrassed in a playoff game they had a shit defense. This was 2 times Capers had a team with a "top 15" ranking and had an all-time bad showing in the playoffs so dont tell me what your ranking was.

I don't fear the Niners. They didn't dominate us, so much as we shit ourselves.

Week 1 SFran Total Net Yards 377 H L
Week 3 Seattle Total Net Yards 238 A L
Week 5 Indy Total Net Yards 464 A L
Week 6 Houston Total Net Yards 321 A W
Week 13 Minn Net Yards Rushing 240 H W
Week 17 Minn Total Net Yards 444 A L

Total avg 347

That is 15th overall. But in the important category they were 2-4. 1-1 Home 1-3 Away

If the Refs didn't screw the Packers in the Seahawks game it would be...

It should of been Packers ball at the Seahawks (about) 25 yard line.

Packers got screwed with a couple of calls in the finish of that game.

And the Packers screwed themselve in the second half of the Colts game... but at least the Packers earn that loss by playing worse... and the Colts players earned the win by playing better... the Seahawks didn't earn that win.

That said 3-3 is still nothing to brag about. All that means is they were mediocre against good teams. If you deduct 25 yards off the total their total defensive average is still 343 per game and still 15th place.

As far as real... the Packers getting screwed in that game was real. And everyone here (I think) knows it. Again just venting in general... nothing against what you're saying.

And 3-3 is better than most teams (which I think better than most teams) is something to brag about though I know we all have our different standards. Or at least better than the rest of the NFC North. I know that's nothing worth bragging about to some of the others on here.

And I know "should of" means nothings.... actually it does mean something... it makes it worse.

... but the Packers should of been 5-1 against those teams.

Packers lost to the 49ers.
Packers got screwed by the refs against the Seahawks
Packers screwed themselves in the second half of the Colts game.
And they shouldn't of lost to the Vikings in week 17.

Also if they would have beat the Vikings in week 17, I think the Bears would of made the playoffs instead... and Lovie Smith might still be with the Bears. And personally I liked Lovie and company not being able to figure out what they should do on offense [grin1]

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
