When we lost Robert Brooks to an ACL people said our chances were gone too.

The only way the Eagles trade Lito is if Lito is being a turd in the locker room and maybe a few other scenarios. I just don't see that happening.

Even if the Eagles were willing to trade him, I highly doubt Ted would do it. He seems like a guy who's more 'build within' than grab from thy neighbor.

Wow. That sucks. I hate to see a player, any player, go down for the season due to injury. It is a blow to the team, to be sure. Williams could step up though.
"There's the snap, Rodgers with a quick drop - in trouble! AND SACKED BY ALLEN! The ball is lose, the ball is lose, and recovered by Kevin Williams! And that's the ball game! Childress and the Vikings FINALLY beat the Packers!"

A ruptured spleen--maybe. That would be terrible. I wonder if it happened when his own teammate ran into him. Those are often the worst injuries.

Sounds like it. Most reports are saying it happens when Hawk ran into him.

He suffered the injury in the first quarter of Sunday night's loss to the Dallas Cowboys when Harris collided with linebacker A.J. Hawk. Coach Mike McCarthy said after the game that the doctors would not allow Harris to return to the game after blood was found in his urine.

Can't believe how bad Hawk would be feeling now. (Obviously, he has no reason to, though)

I seriously doubt if this second opinion is going to change anything, so lets just hope that the other CBs can get it done, like said before.

Even while knowing better, you're almost hoping for Patrick Lee to have an extremely early break-out game šŸ˜›

Unfortunately, Patrick Lee looked really, really raw in the preseason. I thought he was even worse than Jarrett Bush. He is probably at least a year away, if not two years, from being a quality starting CB in the NFL.

This was one of my areas of concern coming into the season: our defense is predicated on good CBs playing man coverage, but we're very thin behind Harris and Woodson.
