RW would go after Lito or someone like that. The question is ...will TT?

I sure hope so -- our defense is predicated on corners who can play on an island, and Lito's from a similar style. He'd be a great fit, and if we're looking at no Al and ChuckWood running around on a busted toe, we're in deep.

TT's hand might be forced here. I completely forgot the Woodson element. If his foot gets worse... :xcensoredx:

We need to acquire someone...Lito? What might he cost us?

I previously stated that Philly was looking for a 2nd rounder. I wonder if they'd be willing to accept a conditional pick that currently stands a 4th rounder, will likely be a 3rd, and could be a 2nd or even a 1st? I think you know which pick I'm talking about. Favre for Lito Shepperd anyone?

Damn, this is not good at all. It adds to the pain of losing last night.

I'd do a 4th that becomes a 2nd if we sign him long term

This is what I was thinking, as well -- the Jets' performance against SD tonight could affect this, assuming a trade for Lito is even possible. If they look like they're on the upswing, we might have more to deal with.

Nobody, Ty Law is a zone coverage guy. God, I hope we get Lito.... if not this will be a long year.

A ruptured spleen--maybe. That would be terrible. I wonder if it happened when his own teammate ran into him. Those are often the worst injuries.

The Packers' chances of going all the way are significantly reduced without Harris. I've always thought of him as the most valuable player on the defense, although after last night's performance by Woodson on Owens, I was ready to put him second. Either way, he is one of our most difficult players to replace.

It looks like the Packers' good luck with injuries may be running out.

As for Lito Sheppard, I wouldn't think the Eagles would be interested in trading him to a team that is expected to compete with them for the conference championship this season.
