I thought Scott Well or Josh Sitton went to the Pro Bowl?

I am not saying he has drafted horrible players, but it is slightly alarming that we haven't drafted a single pro bowl player in that span.

I stand by my conviction that Campen cannot develop consistent talent worth a pinch.

For prespective on the Pro Bowl thing...

Between 2005 and 2009... 218 offensive lineman were drafted. Only 18 of those lineman have been voted to a Pro Bowl. 7.8 % of the players selected have made the Pro Bowl. 10 of those 17 were drafted in Round 1.

If you stand outside any stadium on Sunday before the game and asked the fans who the OL for the other team I would say 80% of them can not name more than 2. So how can we expect them to know who the best linemen in the league are.

Under-rated?

Ahem. Er, no.

If anything, they are over-rated. Yes, they are better at pass blocking than at run blocking (though it wouldn't take a whole lot). But were it not for Rodgers' and his running/scrambling ability, they'd have double the sacks they've actually given up. So, IMO, even just looking at their pass blocking, they still are mired in the average/serviceable category.

(This opinion of mine, of course, surprises no one.)

IMO, Ted is really good at almost everything he does. But I think the Packers ability to scout/choose OL is probably his (and the scouting department's, generally) is his biggest weakness.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Earlier in his tenure, MM was ASKING for "smaller, quicker" linemen to fit this idiotic zBS bullshit.

Since they've been hybridizing that more, Ted has been allowed to go get "bigger, stronger" guys, and he's done far better.

I hope they're under rated, that that means they can do better, whether it's with a new coach or not, whatever it takes. I would really like to see them get really good not only for production but for Aaron's health. Right now they need to get the Oline healthy and Ted Thompson has to continue to do his job by adding depth and drafting over what we have when possible.

Saturday was on the nfl network before the Arizona game and he said they were giving up too many sacks BUT they realize this is going to happen a bit cause we are trying to hold the ball and make some plays down the field. I feel we only get the ball out quick when it's our only option and Rodgers hits the turf 4-5 times.
