5 to 10 posters at a time per each visit I make and hardly no one is posting on a game day.
One of three possible reasons:
1. Zero upped the charge per post.
2. You are absorbing the vast amount of knowledge that the posters here are laying down.
3. Everyone is somewhat nervous about the Packers possibly starting 0-2 and waiting upon the Freak Out post game.
I can understand both one and two.. Zero is a money grubbing.. lol.
But any nervousness about starting 0-2.. it may happen, and I am sure if it does, there will be a freak out collectively. Chicken Little will look like the ultimate optimist. But I have a twitch in my left foot that is screaming that the Packers redeem the opening loss... maybe even atone for it with an ass kicking of their own.
* Capers and company will still have work to do after this game, but we will have hope for restoring a NFL quality defense.
* Rodgers will take McGinn's preseason stat compulation and crumple it up in a massive spitball waiting to be fired upon him unmercifully.
* Driver will see more than 3 snaps and be involved in the offense, anyone remember Jones only getting one target early last season.
* Perry, McMillian and Worthy will hit the stat sheet, flash play making ability and start to make some noise and excite Packer nation with the future.
* Benson is going to drop his hat into the center of Ur'slacker' chest and show that he will help contribute to the Packers offense.
None of this nanzy panzy doom and gloom talk today.. we are the Packers.. we have a very good football team.. and we will kick the Bears in the ass some tonight. The world will right itself and we will return to that jocular group of last season, overconfidence will be able to seep in again.. and week one will look like a blip in the season.
And if none of that doesn't come to fruition, the sun will rise tomorrow and we will still continue on towards a post season march in week 3.
So sit back.. laugh and be hardy.. enjoy the game and post often here. Argue.. complain, brag, whatever you would like.
We got this.
