And the Blues Brothers are Bears fans. With all due respect, they're not our boys.

5 to 10 posters at a time per each visit I make and hardly no one is posting on a game day.

One of three possible reasons:

3. Everyone is somewhat nervous about the Packers possibly starting 0-2 and waiting upon the Freak Out post game.

I can understand both one and two.. Zero is a money grubbing.. lol.

But any nervousness about starting 0-2.. it may happen, and I am sure if it does, there will be a freak out collectively. Chicken Little will look like the ultimate optimist. But I have a twitch in my left foot that is screaming that the Packers redeem the opening loss... maybe even atone for it with an ass kicking of their own.

* Capers and company will still have work to do after this game, but we will have hope for restoring a NFL quality defense.

* Rodgers will take McGinn's preseason stat compulation and crumple it up in a massive spitball waiting to be fired upon him unmercifully.

* Driver will see more than 3 snaps and be involved in the offense, anyone remember Jones only getting one target early last season.

* Perry, McMillian and Worthy will hit the stat sheet, flash play making ability and start to make some noise and excite Packer nation with the future.

* Benson is going to drop his hat into the center of Ur'slacker' chest and show that he will help contribute to the Packers offense.

None of this nanzy panzy doom and gloom talk today.. we are the Packers.. we have a very good football team.. and we will kick the Bears in the ass some tonight. The world will right itself and we will return to that jocular group of last season, overconfidence will be able to seep in again.. and week one will look like a blip in the season.

And if none of that doesn't come to fruition, the sun will rise tomorrow and we will still continue on towards a post season march in week 3.

So sit back.. laugh and be hardy.. enjoy the game and post often here. Argue.. complain, brag, whatever you would like.

We got this.

I'm with you on the rest of it. To me, our additions via the draft and FA are just going to start coming around here over the next 4 games. It would be nice to see them get off to a good start by beating CHI tonight. No doubt! Something tells me their OL is going to suffer greatly at the hands of the Packers front 7, and so will Cutler.

The whole year last year, they were really bad. Couldn't tackle. Couldn't get off the field. If it wasn't for 🇦🇷 having one of the best years EVER by a QB, we would have been a 7-9 team at best.

As a historian, having an elite O and a horrible D doesn't bode very well. Teams very rarely win championships with that combination.

The way we made Alex Smith look like an elite QB was pathetic. I've followed the guy his entire career. He's really bad. People like to rag on Jay Cutler, but Jay Cutler is probably about 2 or 3 statuses ahead of Alex Smith.

As I said in another post, Dom Capers has 7 weeks left to win me over. Right now, he's on my shitlist.

1) The beta version is semi-reliable. I actually got 2 pregame chats to work while none worked all of last season.

2) The board has been invaded by purple slimers and others who are wanting to destroy it. There is a JTV account that was reported and closed. Only one with a password could have reported it.

3) Because of #2 above security will have to tightened. Perhaps access to chat should be limited. I would suggest both a minimun time and minimum post count for access. Any psychos that are vikling bozos obviously should never be given access as it was quite clear one of those deviants is behind the sabotage.

4) Chat is a very well liked feature to are international and out of area members. I hate seeing it get wrecked. Please treat it as something very precious. How else would you hear my friend Tromadz tell his funny story of going to the Chicago dentist wearing a Packer T-shirt?
